The Disney store sale has added more stuff in and knocked some prices even further down - got a Minnie mouse rucksack for £2.99 instead of £10 and a Jake and neverland pirates one for £3.99 (the latter in oilcloth so quite rugged, Minnie was in Tshirt jersey fabric with a nylon lining, not very practical as a school bag but fab as a play bag for at home). They also had some half price pants sets and a nice big picture story book of Brave for £3 instead of £10.

Oh and I looked at the Argos playmobil football field for ds1 back in early April - out of stock everywhere then too and hasn't come back in despite using the notify me when back in service. And checking out in lots of places around the country as dh has lots of siblings that we could have pressedinto service to pick it up.

On a brighter note, has anyone mentioned the playmobil house at The Entertainer/www.thetoyshop.co.uk (or is it .com?) anyhow it's down from well over a hundred to about £50.

I was in an entertainer shop the other day and noticed a few good deals. Sadly I can't remember most of them!

There were lots of Hama sets reduced too, but I can't find them online so probably the stores selling old stock. I was at the Metrocentre and they had loads.

Lalaloopsey had some deals on, Sew cute I really thought in store this was priced at £13 - but it is showing online at £15.

Anyway perhaps it is worth a rummage if you have a store near by.

It is out of stock for collection in store as well, so I am afraid it does look like another Swizz!

I have ordered the Paper Jamz stuff though, I might give that to DS1 for his birthday in November.

The Playmobil school has been reduced to this price a few times in the past couple of months. It's probably been on sale more than it is full price so keep checking it!

I have tried, but my resistance was in vain. Have succumbed and bought the playmobil school from argos. I said to myself this morning when I went shopping that if it was in stock, it was a sign for me to buy it. And there was one left. £39.99 well spent. I want to play with it with DS now though!

Stocking fillers - decent size bottles of bubbles for 40p and four big pots of play doh for £2 in the entertainer.

I am pondering the playmobil suburban house from the entertainer for £49.99 ...

Also looking for cheaper playmobil pirates (but not the ship, we have one of those already) if anyone knows of anything please!

Ok, Dh thinks I am totally crazy thanks to this thread but I have started the Christmas shopping. Thanks for the dotcomgiftshop link, I've made good use of that.

So far I've bought:
Most of the Dc's stocking stuff
A couple of books for DD1 (not sure if they were a bargain but they were ones I wanted for her that I liked as a child)
Gifts for my sister, her husband, her daughter, her two sons, my two cousins.

Fragrance Direct has lots of clearance stuff and normal stuff is pretty cheap too. I've got some lip gloss/nail varnish stocking fillers for the kids and some of the more difficult men presents.

Put the playmobil house in my basket and went to checkout, it said free home delivery with Shutl if I spent £50, it is very tempting but will my 2yo dismantle it?

I've just reserved a playmobil school for in store collection in a store in London, quite a few other stores in London had one or two left. Now I just need to decide whether DS would like it. Such a bargain though...
