Marking place! Ooooooo let the Christmas Shopping commence Grin

fuzzpig · 25/06/2013 08:26

That's the other one I considered olivo :) Ember joined us in town for birthday dinner and DD was cuddling her all night too.

Not sure if it's been mentioned already but I've got the Lego Ideas Book from thebookpeople - only £2.99! I'll wrap it up with some Lego boxes (probably a 'basic bricks', windows/doors, wheels and roof tiles)

FairyJen · 25/06/2013 12:18

Debenhams have got 50% off at the moment. Got some great stocking fillers etc inc loads of moshi monster bits for £ rather than £££! Smile

buildingmycorestrength · 25/06/2013 23:35

How do you all keep track of what you've got? Spreadsheet? Wrap it all and put post-it notes on them? Forget?

everydayaschoolday · 25/06/2013 23:51

Yes, I have a spreadsheet Blush. But I love it! Grin

buildingmycorestrength · 26/06/2013 07:39

I have had spreadsheets for Christmas presents for several years now...I just don't normally fill them in in June.

I am SO PROUD of myself. I am one of THOSE people now. One of those people who can say airily, "Oh, I did mine ages ago.' in mid November (husband's birthday...normally I start planning Christmas after that).

fuzzpig · 26/06/2013 08:23

I just keep a list on the Notes section of my phone. We have a tiny family so there's not many people to keep track of - basically just DCs/DSCs and DH, plus a few grandparents.

PearlyWhites · 26/06/2013 08:58

Thanks just ordered the jewellery maker

laurenamium · 26/06/2013 09:34

I have an app on my phone that lets me record what I've bought and who for and tells me how much I've spent Smile

buildingmycorestrength · 26/06/2013 10:57

I have it on Google docs so my DH can also update. I live in hope.... just kidding, he does actually shop for his family a fair bit, and my brother who shares his interests.

olivo · 26/06/2013 15:46

I just forget, but it's lovely to one a drawer in march and find something new for someone Wink

Play-doh Swirling Shake Shop

Reeduced from £16.99 to £7.53 with free delivery. Theyre reduced in ELC at the moment but still around £13 in there.

Elainey1609 · 03/07/2013 23:29

Ok so just ordered 2 pashminas I may get burnt and they are crap
but lets cross our fingers.

raisah · 04/07/2013 05:27

Mothercare has reduced happyland sets to £2.50 & £4.00. They have also got good discounts on toys, clothes & footwear.

JaquelineHyde · 04/07/2013 06:58

Lauren what is that app called? I could do with something like that.

fuzzpig · 04/07/2013 09:12

I'd like to know too Lauren :)

DD has already decided what she wants to get DS for Xmas - a Fix it Felix outfit (from Wreck it Ralph). She also would like a dressing up dress herself as she has outgrown her Disney one (is 6 but very tall) any ideas please? Where is good for that kind of thing (will have a look in Disney store obv but it's £££ in there) :)

johnworf · 04/07/2013 09:49

I bought my first present y'day from John Lewis; A nook e-reader for my grown up DD.

I always buy my cards/wrap in the Jan sales.

Littlemousewithcloggson · 08/07/2013 19:56

Fuzz, try Sainsburys for dressing up outfits, especially when have 25% off clothing. My girls have vast collection from there from Disney through to pirates and goldilocks! Big selection online as well. Bit on the small size though so I always buy size up. Good quality as well

fuzzpig · 08/07/2013 21:15

Thanks mouse :) (and now I'm humming the windmill song thanks to your name - that takes me back!)

johnworf · 11/07/2013 16:49

It's worth keeping an eye on Hot Uk Deals website and Money saving expert for bargains.

Allthingspretty · 01/08/2013 14:42

Boots have aome Odile and Fleu jewelry reduced. For example I got a £ 17necklace for three quid!

CrazyAssMomma · 11/08/2013 15:08

Right ladies I need help for my DD's 1st birthday. Suggestions please :) thanks in advance

Slainte · 11/08/2013 15:37

Not sure if it's the same as Lauren's but there's an app called No More Socks which I think does the same thing. HTH

Slainte · 16/08/2013 19:11

Actually, forget my last post - No More Socks doesn't seem to work on the iPad.

I'm currently using Quick Christmas List app and really like it.
