I've made my DC little art tote bags. They are denim with fab Star Wars/Batman material for the pockets. It's filled with lots of drawing stuff. I really hope they like them! I'm still at the barely sewing in a straight line stage so am proud of these little bags.

What present cant you wait to give?

Mine's a shop bought one - but a corker. Middley kid has a huge dragon puppet teddy thingie which was a lucky find in a charity shop 4 years ago. He luffs it, and it goes with him on all the hospital admissions.

Littley kid luffs it too, but it's Middley's special toy = squabbles.

Well, thanks to the power of google - I've found a green one! Exactly the same, giant puppet thingie, but green.

He's going to be so happy.

And, you never know, maybe less squabbles?

My DD is having a Baby Born doll and I have made a baby bed basket like this one and a doll mei tai sling like this with the fabric left over from her bedroom curtains. She is going to love them.

My two are getting a kitchen - they will love it!
DS is also getting a toy vacuum cleaner which he is going to go crazy for (he is completely obsessed with them)

my mums. i have done her a hamper, but with a difference. as a child she always wanted a proper wicker shopping basket, as an adult she has never found the right one for a decent price. well i have, and filled it with things she has loved since she was a child- i commissioned someone i know to make her a traditional, mohair teddy bear, she has a tray of toffee with a hammer, a jar of american hard gums (she used to buy these with her pocket money every saturday), i made her a gorgeous bracelet, she has posh hot chocolate complete with baileys, a gorgeous mug for her hot choc and several other little bits including hand cream and sweeties. she will be over boxing day and is having it then, i cant wait to give it to her.

Lovely presents you have all chosen. We have got a build a bear for MIL, well a build a bunny actually, with a recording of DS 13 saying love you grandma when you push button on his hand. We gave her a bear when DS was 2 and she was heart broken when batteries ran out earlier this year as she made it say 'Luff you gwnndma ' every morning when she woke up. She is going to cry. Plus its the darn cutest bunny ever with its little denim overalls and pow trainers!

Probably the dc ps3 but I am going to be mean and not put it with all the other presents to start with otherwise we won't see them for dust once they have opened that.

To be honest my two year olds face when she see's Santa's been. But we also got her a minnie mouse drawing easel which she's going to love. Can't wait.

We have bought dd a laptop that she will love but when she sees it is pink she will squeal with joy I'm also looking forward to her opening her stocking as I managed to find the beanie boo teddy she has set her heart on but which was only available in America.

We've bought them a guinea pig each. Three of the sweetest things you ever saw. They have absolutely no idea. I have never been so excited about any present ever!

I bought a huge cardboard castle with two doors. Each of my DSSs will find their pile of presents behind a door. I am so excited to see their reaction.

Dh and I set a budget for each other. I know the swine will have bust the budget though so I sneakily bought him some fancy pants chilli sauces, infused balsamic vinegar and posh raspberry dark chocolate. I'll sneak then into our joint stocking from Santa.

Actually, seeing the dc faces when they see all the wrapped up presents is what I'm most looking for.

DH will be getting a box with two positive pregnancy tests, really looking forward to his face when he opens them

Ah, Feet - that brought a tear to the old glass eye.

The dcs and I have made dh some very special chocolates, so excited about seeing him open them.

I've got two. For selfish reasons I'm most looking forward to giving my lovely man 'the wire' boxset so I can watch it.

Also looking forward to giving my little dog her choccy drops & teddy. The teddy will be lucky to make it to boxing day!! She keeps me calm when there is chaos all around me, she never slams doors, never leaves her dirty socks on the floor. She smothers me in kisses as if she's missed me when I've only been upstairs putting washing away & walking her always eases my stress.

also love him indoors & my cheery preteen but the dog is the easiest to love.....luckily the dog won't tell them I said that :-)

I've already given mine. Youngest Dsis lives a long way away so hadn't seen her for ages. Times are hard and she has very little money, no Christmas tree or gifts although her exp has apparently bought tons for their DCs.

Visited her with our other Dsis last weekend, went in and had dinner then emptied car of pressies and Christmas tree/decs/lights. Also had assorted cast offs of mine and DSs that fit her and dnephew. Had a lovely evening sorting it all out and putting the tree up, then watching Polar Express.

Trip to supermarket the following morning to fill her cupboards and freezer.

She and the DCs weren't expecting any of it and were thrilled.

It was sad to see her so low, and it makes me tearful thinking about it, but I know we have made her Christmas very different and I'm so glad that we were able to do it.

My sister and I have massively splashed out bought our mum an ipad and internet connection - we both live abroad, so she will be able to Skype us! And the best bit is my sister will be there to set it up so she can see DCs opening their presents on xmas day.

DS1 (13) is saving up for a tablet/laptop so is just expecting cheques for Christmas. What he doesn't know is that we've bought him an iPad We wouldn't normally splash out like this (which he knows), but he's such a lovely, kind and considerate boy that we wanted to treat him. Can't wait to see his face!

FaceTime is much much better than Skype - and free. . My mums ipad changed her life, literally. She speaks to her grandchildren in oz every week now.

Lots of Sherlock stuff for DD (14). She's obsessed not only with BC but all things Sherlock Holmes. Her pile includes a deer stalker!!!!

I found some working toy traffic lights in Tesco last week, and got them for DS's stocking. He is autistic and currently obsessed with traffic lights - it was the perfect find! Can't wait to see his face when he realises they actually work.
