None of us like Christmas pudding (including my mother and brothers, dh and dcs).

We have a chocolate roulade or fruit salad usually.

Christmas pud is fine if you like dried fruit. I don't and neither does ds1. Dh and ds2 will eat the lot.

I like dried fruit and eatChristmas cake and mince pies, there's just something about Christmas pudding that I hate, it's just so rich and stodgy, I don't like the taste of alcohol in puddings. My DCs don't like it either, probably because it's so far removed from what they consider to be a pudding (we normally only have yogurt, fruit or ice cream).

Shaped Ice cream - Freeze ice cream into silver foil trays then use cookie cutters to cut out shaped ice cream.

We have also previously done little choc puds with the melted choc in the middle or sticky toffee pudding/Jam sponge cakes. They look similar to the shape of Xmas pudding too.
I dont like xmas pudding so will often have a sticky toffee pud instead :)
