What are the best Christmas films?

Further to the love actually debate/roastingwas just thinking what is the best/most loved xmas film on mnet.

Can be Christmassy ala muppet Xmas carol or based in the festive season e.g die hard.

I can't decide - I love Scrooged, muppet Xmas carol god I could go on and on!!

Miracle on 34 th street for me, I LOVE it

Absolute favourites at Christmas for us .... It's a wonderful life, the snowman, white Christmas

Die Hard and Die Harder are probably the only 2 better than Scrooged.

And I am usually so cultured.

Mine is Santa Claus The Movie.

Another vote for Miracle on 34th Street. I love it. Watch it every Christmas Eve without fail.

We were talking about this yesterday, trying to choose a good family Christmas film to watch on Christmas Eve - we thought It's A Wonderful Life can't be beaten except by A Christmas Carol but it depends if you want life-affirming with sadness or life-affirming with ghoulishness!

We have watched Gremlins (the DCs had never seen it) and Home Alone in the past week so we're already in the mood ;-)
