Nice to see some Lego finally, but the sets aren't as good as last years by the looks of it :(

I got Jamie, next up is the Rocket Dog boots, they should come up quite cheap with the £10 fashion discount but do I really need them??

How do you use the £10 fashion discount? I was given it after buying Minnie nightdress then bought the jeans but it wasn't automatically applied and I only remembered after checkout on the jeans.

Beedle the discount didn't apply to the Fly boots the other day - watch in case it doesn't work

10week old DD is not liking me being on the laptop.. She's sat in her bouncy chair frowning at me, I keep telling her that Mummy is missing the good deals but she's not convinced

My construction skills are good , maybe my kids are just too heavy handed? we have had more luck with different lego sets, all the ninjago is now in the big tub of mixed lego. I have just bought the lego ideas book so they can just construct with the huge amounts of leg o they already have.

We bought the big mixed box on bf last year and it was my best buy.

Humph, I was looking at the police lego and maybe the brio but only half the things refershed when the deal started and those ones didn't, by the time they finally did they were all gone :(

Oh well at least I got the lego brickmaster stuff yesterday.

I shall consult with DH - we have tonnes of Lego, but it's the minifigures they play with the most - and this will have 7, and it goes with the Ninjago Brickmaster bundle, and we already have the ideas book ... Oh I'm Amazon's marketing dream, aren't I

I think I'm done until 8pm - unless they add anything else in - do you think they will?

Considering the kickers shoes for DDs in next sizes up. Would have to be about half price though! DD2 is on her 3rd pair already since September so no point soending too much.

Gah, I don't want a Kindle Fire, but it's still a bit galling that it's cheaper than my Kindle Paperwhite at the moment .

Although am I right that you can only get it for £99 if you're happy for it to display special offers and sponsored screensavers when it's locked?

My 5mo DD is also not very impressed with my laptop use today! I just need her to nap long enough for me to have a chance of getting the Rocket Dog boots (to compensate for having to return the Fly ones, SOB SOB) then that's me done till 8pm. BUT! DP is away meaning I have to get 3yr DS and 5mo DD in bed and asleep by 8pm on my own, so i've got a chance at the Nappies, Wipes and Mr Men (if cheaper than bookpeople). MMMMM it's not looking good!

Indith The Brio went so quickly it was claimed by the time it refreshed for me! I joined the waitlist for both and was able to add them to my basket after 15minutes.

Gave up the flying scotsman set but very pleased to have got the other one, DD is sitting playing with her learning curve right now

Does anyone know how much the AA breakdown kit went for earlier in the week? It's £18.90 at the moment. I'd like it, but only a little bit .

I've used AutoAid in the past (£35 for full cover, home away everything) and never had a problem

Ah, it's only a warning triangle, high via jacket etc Pie. I'm afraid the AA don't come to rescue you. Thanks for the tip though - I'm sure I pay nearly that for my AA breakdown cover which doesn't cover me if I'm at home.

I've just read the reviews for the AA breakdown kit, it sounds pretty useful. But it would only cost ~£11 for the 3 things in it that I'd really like, and I'm not sure it will be that cheap!

DH has now been back into Waterstones to check out the difference between the Fire and Fire HD during his lunch break. I am dithering although I want it for general household consumption rather than for myself. What are the chances of the HD coming up this evening? DH did point out that if we buy the normal Fire then it would be here tomorrow so we could try it out at the weekend. Oh, he said there really wasn't much between the two devices.

I am also trying to decide about the lego book bundles for ds2. I inadvertently bought ds1 a watch this morning and now both he and dd1 have something extra from us but ds2 doesn't (he will notice, he is 7). What to do, what to do? Has anyone got the book bundles yet and could you tell me if they are any good?

Got one pair of shoes for DD2 and the other pair for DD1 . Really good price i thought.
