I thought there would be Kitchen aids and big tubs of lego like last year Sad

Does seem like they are just selling the stuff they cant get rid of. Fingers crossed there will be better things tomorrow.

Hoping they will have the book "Pep Guardiola : Another Way of Winning" by Guillem Balague on tomorrow.

Never heard of it until it appeared on Dads Christmas list, here's hoping! lol

Marne, DH says yes, he does think they are a true size 10 as he's usually a 10.5. He told me to get a 10 because he assumed because they are boots they'd be 'big and a bit flappy' Hmm

Sorry Blue, I did just have to snigger at your DH there :o

I was really hoping for big boxes of Lego this year too :( And I loved the mystery things last year, was fun trying to guess.

I wasn't going to buy anything today, but suddenly I'm paying for a Nerf that DS hasn't even asked for!

I need help! Or someone to ban me from Amazon! :o

I've bought a watch, a scooter, a Lovefilm subscription and god knows what else over the last few days! None of it needed as I have done my Christmas shopping! Hmm

I agree re stock clearance comments, but a dog DNA test is just what I need! (My family dog was originally a street dog in east Africa and we always joke he is part goat or something). I wonder if it sold out?

Report
Marne · 22/11/2012 12:30

lol, i could do with the dna test too but i dont think i could justify paying for it (would love to know if my dog is who her parers say she is), maybe we should just take them on Jeremy Kyle?

NoSoggyBottoms · 22/11/2012 12:40

lol AllIWant85 Grin

I'm sure that there are some items that most see as odd, but some will find a use or need for. The dog DNA test did make me laugh though, and yes made me think of dear Jeremy Kyle! Grin

However, I thought the point of Black Friday was big discounts on popular items with the thought of getting a bargain for Christmas.

Ah well....Happy Thanksgiving!

I need to stay focused and get the goal at 7.15, ds Xmas list is a ball, goalie gloves and a goal, I have the other 2 just need a goal (which I swear wasn't on earlier)

How does the love film thing work?

Report
AllIWant85 · 22/11/2012 12:53

Yes that book keeps coming back. I nearly bought one just because it keeps popping up (can you see the extent of my problem! :o )

The Lovefilm thing was 6 months for £15.98. They send you a 6 month gift voucher, you can use it for the postal Lovefilm or Lovefilm instant.

Just tried 3 items which are apparently 100% claimed. All three now in my basket! Wasn't added to a waiting list. Hmm Not that I want them, purely interested bored Grin

At the moment I have a TV, surround system and Sat Nav in my basket. I don't own a car Grin Just had a debate with DP that it should work if you walk down the road rather than drive...or I could always direct the bus driver Wink

What's the point in having timings for the deals if they just relist it all when it doesn't sell? They might as well just make it all available at once and then knock stuff off once it's sold out.

I quite fancy some of the WOW toys coming up later.

ImpYCelyn marketing techniques. Makes you think the item is low in quantity, or by having a timer, you make a rash decision as you don't want to pay the higher price.

soggy I just tried claiming some "100% claimed" items too, and got them straight away. Do you think they're trying to make us think that we're missing out on some bargains?
