Kindle Fire I think will be listed tomorrow.

Very interesting with so many of you saying that you are finding the items at lower prices elsewhere, including Amazon itself!

Savvy shoppers indeed....me likely Grin Wink

Whispers - I think the Mumsnet / Zulily discount code has recently changed to 20MUMSNE15 - but it's a one time only code so save it for a nice big order! I got the code thanks to the lovely Reastie over on the bargainous christmas present code thread.

Imp - unfortunately I don't think Zulily have the Trunkis any more, as they are only on for a couple of days and then get taken off the site. But if you're not in a rush for one, they do come back to Zulily faily regularly Grin Hope that helps?!

But I'd grab a bee one if the price gets down to around the £20 mark as you can get free postage on Amazon and it's £3.50 on Zulily!

anyone tell me how to get deals to update without f5 ing? counting down and then it doesn't swop to deal button Sad ideas?

Report
iseenodust · 22/11/2012 10:41

Yeah got the Nerf thingy and seems like a good price.
The Scalextric is a good price (checked against Toys R Us, Argos) but more than I can justify on DN.

Even I would be hard pressed to buy anything today Hmm

Well, my first Black Friday bargain has turned into a bit of a let down. I got DH these boots and they don't fit his stupid big feet.

They are a 10 in Old West Molasses and can't be exchanged for another size at the reduced price (I've checked with Amazon) Sad

So, if anyone would like them for £49.99 plus P+P, I'd rather another MNetter got a bargain, than send them back to Amazon so they can sell them for £95!

Any takers?

Loupee · 22/11/2012 11:12

blue would you say they are a true to size 10?

Report
BlueGuinefort · 22/11/2012 11:13

Well, it's hard to say because DH sometimes takes a size 10 and sometimes an 11. I'll go ask him (he's on the phone, so I may take a while)...

I didn't buy the nurf, decided i had already bought dd enough so had to control myself and stick to whats on my list, am now waiting to get some of the bath bombs (for dd2's TA) and maybe the hand creams for my mum, also waiting for the black magic hamper.

A bit disapointed with whats on there today (and the past few days), not as good as last year unless the best is still to come.

Blue hope you get someone who wants to buy them

Marne...with only one day left, I'm losing hope of any amazing deals.

Is it me, or do their seem to be some odd items listed...like they are trying to get rid of stock, rather than give a good discount on a good item?

For example, coming up is a pack of 12 Vita Coco 100% Natural Coconut Water Hmm

I have the same question as anklebitersmum. Does the screen automatically update with F5? I watch the time countdown and then panic when the Add to Basket doesn't come up, refresh and waste precious time scrolling to the item again. Do I need to be more patient?

The hunger games trilogy is cheaper on the book people site if that helps anyone?

*automatically update WITHOUT F5?

Thanks Shoop I'll keep an eye on the bee, and then check Zulily if it's not a good deal.

I agree Nosoggy, lots of odd items, will be interesting to see if the coconut water sells fast Smile, had to laught at the dog DNA tester kit on monday too (how many people would want to do a dna test on their dog?), also disapointed with what books and dvd box sets are on there (a load of rubbish).

ImpYCelyn · 22/11/2012 11:29

bdaonion - don't refresh, sometimes the "Add to basket" button is really slow to appear, but it will come!

Report
NoSoggyBottoms · 22/11/2012 11:30

bdaonion Using a laptop here. I have the page on the upcoming deals with the counter conting down (obviously Hmm). When it goes down to zero, it might take a few seconds, but then the deal appears with the "add to basket" button. I do not have to refresh/F5...does this automatically.

Hth

Marne Agree with you too. Wouldn't say that there have been any "must-have" items listed, as Amazon would have us believe.

Coconut milk, dog dna test, bic pens for her (wt..??!), brita water filters....c'mon!

So far this week, only been kinda interested in one item.

Better off trawling the internet and shops for better deals imo.
