OP posts:
blibblibs · 19/11/2012 16:24

I was being a bit more realistic and hoping for at least 50% off the IPL Grin
Brillo pads for the time being then....

Hopefully have more joy with the slow cooker as I've just realised I've bought 4 Star Wars lego books not any actual lego - ah well I'm sure DS will be able to read soon Grin

SweetMingePie · 19/11/2012 16:32

Can someone remind me of the protocol of going on the waiting list. If you have a chance to buy it do you get emailed or do you need to watch amazon?

PrattingAroundTheChristmasTree · 19/11/2012 16:38

I think a box appears on the top right hand corner by the basket, if some become available.

jumblequeen · 19/11/2012 16:41

Marking my place. New to this Black Friday business!

TalkinPeace2 · 19/11/2012 16:45

Amazon are only cheap because they avoid paying tax that would otherwise go to hospitals and schools in this country

TaggieCampbellBlack · 19/11/2012 16:54

Do you really think? Idon't. Even if they paid billions in tax the NHS would still be imploding and schools still overstretched.
And I'm skint so if I can get something fir less money than somewhere else then i'm going to go for the cheaper option.

SweetMingePie · 19/11/2012 16:58

Speaking of which, there are a few people starting posts along those lines on the amazon Black Friday forum going on about the tax, gets deleted quite quickly from what I've seen.

CrystalTits · 19/11/2012 16:59

I've just bought a ukulele thanks to you lot Grin WTAF am I going to do with a ukulele?!

ClaimedByMe · 19/11/2012 16:59

Well said Taggie I will add I have never had any problems ordering from amazon, I like that they deliver what you order when you want it!

WhispersOfWickedness · 19/11/2012 17:04

Blimey, the Melissa and Doug stuff went quick Sad

TaggieCampbellBlack · 19/11/2012 17:04

Crystal. You can go busking and make millions tax free Grin

TaggieCampbellBlack · 19/11/2012 17:05

I need girls pens.

SweetMingePie · 19/11/2012 17:11

I managed to get the play dough set. Pleased with that as was the only thing I wanted today.

CrystalTits · 19/11/2012 17:19

All together now..."I'm leaning on a lamp post at the corner of the street/In case a certain little lady comes by..." Smile

Tortoise · 19/11/2012 17:20

I decided £19.99 was more than I wanted to pay for the headphones. Was hoping for £15.

TaggieCampbellBlack · 19/11/2012 17:21

I don't need £9 of girls pens.

WhispersOfWickedness · 19/11/2012 17:26

Shock at the price of the pens. Can't believe their normal price is £21 Confused

blibblibs · 19/11/2012 17:32

Missed the slow cooker Sad
Can you put these deals in your basket and then wait for the reduction?

spookysal · 19/11/2012 17:36

I managed to put all four Melissa and Doug toys in my basket. But luckily regained control of myself before checking out and only purchased the lacing beads, which was the only thing I wanted before I got caught up in the heat of the moment

LalaDipsey · 19/11/2012 17:43

Well done spooksy. I lost control - put all 4 in my basket and checked out 3 Blush this is only day 1!!!

LalaDipsey · 19/11/2012 17:44

and I almost bought the slow cooker - I ALREADY HAVE ONE!!!!!

Belacqua · 19/11/2012 17:46

I impulse bought a slow cooker - they are brilliant, right?

LalaDipsey · 19/11/2012 17:50

They are fab Smile as long as the recipe is good. I have made some inedible shite in mine from time to time but also some crackers!!!

Belacqua · 19/11/2012 17:52

Thankyou! My sister likes grey Le Creuset stuff and this is, ahem, grey...

SweetMingePie · 19/11/2012 17:54

Will tomorrows items be listed once today's are all done, or will they go on tomorrow morning?
