So Tesco are doing there voucher exchange, i have been waiting in hope that 'skylanders' is on the list. Got up early to have a look and 'yay, skylanders is on the list', i then go to find the skylander starter pack for the wii, i find it for the ds (on voucher exchange) and the x-box 360 (on the exchange) but the starter pack for the wii is not Angry. Surely if 'skylanders' is on the list for items on the exchange this should include all skylanders? and why is the ds starter pack and the 360 on the voucher exchange but not the Wii?

I have e-mailed them but so far no reply Sad

Have been saving my vouchers up to buy this as dd1 has asked for it and a wii for christmas (wii will be 2nd hand but its still going to cost me a fortune for this and the skylanders), i'm not a happy bunny Sad.

Well, I'm with you there. Went to collect my stuff on Friday - it wasn't there!

Called Tesco direct yesterday as I still hadnt received it and was told that there was nothing they could do until today. I stewed a bit and dh said "just ring them back then" (I should add that I had been promised that a manager would call me back but they hadn't). So, I called. Customer service lady said "no sorry, you won't be getting your order, it is stuck in our system and hasn't been processed". I eventually get put through to a manager who says "sorry the items are now out of stock" and refunds me my vouchers plus another tenner as a gift card so that I can go in to the store and buy my things. I await the gift card (in the post) and am so Angry that I have bought them from Amazon instead. Plan on buying dd1 a kindle with the gift card when it arrives providing my local store has them, so all may not be lost by have had enough of Tesco direct and their crappy website! Never again!!

Yep, i'm not happy Angry.

Dh is picking up the items i got online when he finishes work tonight so will see if they are there or not.

I told customer services that i had e-mailed tesco direct and have had no answer, they asked 'when did you e-mail?' i said '4 days ago' and they said 'well thats why, it can take weeks for them to answer' Angry, how sh*t is that?

I have now bought the wii starter pack from Amazon, no way i'm buying it from tesco. I now need to use my vouchers or try and get them exchanged back. After that i will not be using Tesco direct again.

I asked the woman on the desk what was going on and he said its a new computer system they've got. been cocking everything up..

Well dh went to pick up my items and guess what? yep, they have not been delivered. I'm not going to be a happy bunny if they dont turn up as now all my vouchers are tied up because of them being so bloody useless. I may never shop in Tesco's again Sad i give them my money every week for their over priced food so i can get my club card vouchers, fill my car up at their garage but no more Angry.

This thread has made me VERY worried. I have exchanged £65 worth of vouchers for toys (from MIL and us) was supposed to pick up sat but it wasn't in, but the single item I ordered the day later was.

Customer service gave me a direct line to phone today have tried it but no one has answered all day.

beginning to get a little worried now it seems the voucher exchange is a complete shambles. Might go onto the Facebook page as normally someone answers within 15 mins or so...

I'm worried too as the items i ordered are the only things dd1 has asked for, i'm worried if i dont get them then they will be out of stock, also worried that i will end up out of pocket and have to buy the toys full price somewhere else. My book order is due tomorrow (books can only be delivered to a home address, not instore) so will be interesting to see if they turn up.

There seems to be a few angry people on there. Seems Tesco's have messed up Sad which is not great for us and all the other customers who are effected.

£50 voucher in my hand (was sent recorded too!) and a very nice letter of apology . It is worth complaining folks. Marne, be aware that if they change your vouchers back for you, you may not get them credited back until after the double up has ended and you get your next statement. Im sure someone on here had that last time. We lost a voucher because of their silly system last time so I am pleased I actually got something from them that I can use!

Have just read my emails. Tesco replied to my email moan too. There is a temporary fast track helpline for direct orders which may help someone here. The number is 0800 0721 649.

Thanks for that bagpuss. I email them last night and got a auto response which kindly directed me to their 'help' pages. Which someone apperently forgot to populate with anything even remotely helpful! here

Just got through to tesco on that number bagpuss.

My order is in Limbo (great Hmm) They need to cancel it and start again!

I have said no as I will not have any money to spend on double up before chritsmas so they are (hopefully) giving me a cash card instead. Really really frustrating now need to go back and shop again I was up til midnight the first time!

Oh Doris, I feel your frustration. There was a good offer on kindles on their website with stackable codes that brought the price down to £62 with a leather cover but I am not even going there now. I plan to march into my local store and buy one there, that way at least one of my dc can benefit from a nice present on Christmas day!

Well i got a reply telling me one of my items would be delivered to store today and the book would be delivered to store by friday (thats funny as i have payed postage for them to be delivered to my house) Hmm.

Oh and the vouchers i exchanged to get the skylanders, they can not exchange them back so i either have to spend them on toys or loose £60's worth of vouchers.

Sorry Tesco but i am not happy and will not be using you again, very shoddy customer services, they dont seem to have a clue whats going on with the exchange deal (or anything else).

Who knows if my orders will turn up or not Sad.

That's appalling and very shoddy customer services. Keep fighting! Write to head office, keep complaining. I get fed up with Tesco being deliberately misleading.

I've lost count of the times I've bought food in a 3 for 2 or similar only to find that one of the range (usually one they know you are more likely than the rest to pick up) is not included. Get through checkout and realise the damn deal hasn't gone through, queue for hours at customer services to no avail. Last time it was Ambrosia custard pots where every variety except strawberry was included. Also, pasta sauces were once £1.29 each buy 2 for £2.70! The trouble is, there are people out there taken in by this kind of shite and they know it. Sad
