Im wondering if I will have enough by December to use for the 'last bits'

That's my link up there if anyone fancied joining

OhTheConfusion · 28/10/2012 17:54

Whoops, posted then realised the new thread was up and running!

"Wow, so many bargins... thanks for the disney dvd offer!!!

ShoopShoop, I wear one to work with really thick tights and had my other one (tunic) on today with thick tights, long boots and knitwear... I love them too

MaybeAMayBaby · 28/10/2012 18:57

What's the Disney DVD offer?

I have the emu slippers too (a Xmas present a few years ago). They are lovely and hoping for some this year off DH. Thanks for the tip about putting on a wish list. I noticed a few days ago they were quite a bit cheaper. Annoyed that I didn't buy then!

MaybeAMayBaby · 28/10/2012 18:59

Elf on shelf www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B000XR6MBQ/ref=mp_s_a_1?pi=SL75&qid=1351450702&sr=8-1

My American fiend introduced us to it last year. My DD was only just two so hoping it'll be even better this year.
There is a DVD too apparently..

theancientmarinator · 28/10/2012 19:04

Damn, in my quest for a cheap Twister Dance having failed to find two other toys to buy with it in Tesco's three for two I was thrilled to find it on Asda Direct at sixteen quid. But out of stock. [hangry]

Huffpot · 28/10/2012 19:13

accessorizequeen I have my own firmly on those (they are lovely) but they have been out of stock since I found them :(

MaybeAMayBaby my DS is 3 and my youngest is 2 this year so am very very excited about the elf coming to stay.

I'm pretty sure you can print adoptions certificates and all that on line too

That keyring is brilliant...would make a great gift for DP :) Am off to order

HocusPocusPigInACaldron · 28/10/2012 19:20

Can someone please explain the elf on a shelf to me - I didn't really get the gist of it from the link. Seems like a lot of money for a toy and a book?? What am I missing? Confused

HocusPocusPigInACaldron · 28/10/2012 20:07

Anyone after books, i got this Michael Morpurgo Set for dd.

Only £16.99 for 16 books for The Book People, it has arrived and is lovely.

oreocrumbs · 28/10/2012 20:26

Elf on the shelf - Pottery barn - half price shipping to the UK Grin.

This was posted byAuscreemaAscare on the last thread! I wasn't going to do elf on the shelf but, I do love a bit of Americana, and the nightie is so cute!

oreocrumbs · 28/10/2012 20:29

This explains elf on the shelf. An american tradition that is moving over here. There are a lot of threads in this topic about it.

I think I will start it next year, DD is only 2 and I think I will just be making work for myself if i do it this year. But I think once they grasp it, it will be wonderful!
