69% off £64.99 reduced to £19.99 on Ebay deals

rhondajean · 21/10/2012 20:42

I was in thorntons today so this is an instore offer, but also on the website although you would have to pay delivery.

This..

www.thorntons.co.uk/product/Family-Night-In-562g/536.uts?keyword=Family%20night%20in

Is half price just now at ?7.50. It's a huge box and a lovely mix of sweets and would make a great present for a couple or family, along with maybe a DVD? I bought one for us for Xmas eve - no desserts at dinner this year, home for these and some tv!

PrettyPirate · 21/10/2012 20:43

janx there's some on Groupon website, sorry can't do link on the phone, it's on their Goods page

Naghoul · 21/10/2012 20:45

accessorizequeen I was logged in to Amazon.co.uk and it just worked [technical]

zipzap · 21/10/2012 20:48

If anyone sees the Joseph potato masher, avoid it like the plague. Most useless potato masher ever!

crikeybadger · 21/10/2012 20:49

Tea towels are now out of stock...can't imagine why Grin.

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey · 21/10/2012 20:49

I just tried to buy some too crikey!

Chockywockydoodah · 21/10/2012 20:52

Thanks moosey for the H&M codes, I needed a new one! I just got severely "wrapped" knuckles (and a very rudely worded email) from H&M customer service for using a code that didn't apply/hadn't been associated to my account history, which I found on the web. It's their fault for not patrolling the web more of course Wink

zipzap · 21/10/2012 20:53

Also beware of some of the Thorntons offers - my mum was so pleased she'd bought a massive bargain box of Thorntons chocs, expecting them to be the normal ones bought in store.

Unfortunately they were 'celebration' (or summat similar) rather than 'continental' and they were a big let down (even more so as she likes the continental ones) - very ordinary. Fine if you want a big box of chocs to give neighbours/teachers etc but not if you were looking forward to something in particular!

crikeybadger · 21/10/2012 20:59

Found some fab lego soap on a website called the pamper pantry. Thought they would be good as little stocking fillers alongside the flannels!

There is also a really cool James Bond soap with a gun in it!

zipzap · 21/10/2012 21:04

If anyone has kids that like playmobil, it's worth signing them up to the playmobil Birthday club on the playmobil site.

www.playmobil.co.uk/on/demandware.store/Sites-GB-Site/en_GB/Link-Page?cid=BIRTHDAY_CLUB

Dc are both members, this week they got through a catalogue (many happy hours spent perusing and dreaming of which set to ask Santa for) and also a DVD with a short (15 min) animated film of animated playmobil people from futureland battling the baddies. It is never going to get on the Oscar shortlist but it kept the dc entertained and they loved seeing the characters come to life.

No idea if you signed up now if you would still get sent it (they got sent certificate and catalogue when they joined and a coulouring sheet and badge too). Half of it was the novelty of getting something in the post as at their age they don't get much! But good for free, just need to send an email to the address on the page linked to above.

If you get the DVD and can intercept it, it would make a good stocking filler, alternatively you just get the brownie points when it arrives!

kateecass · 21/10/2012 21:15

That soap looks fab crikeybadger. Did you see the Granny's false teeth soap? Guess where that's going? Yes, Granny's stocking!!

crikeybadger · 21/10/2012 21:19

They look great don't they kateecass- not sure whether to wash with them or eat them though!

accessorizequeen · 21/10/2012 22:03

Thanks naghoul, I must have made a misstep somewhere!

MistressIggi · 21/10/2012 22:26

Those soaps look great. I wonder how they are packaged?
I want baby powder one. (Think I'll have made myself a stocking at this rate!)

OhTheConfusion · 21/10/2012 23:56

Love the soaps Crikey... but I can't find the lego ones?

Have the 007, jelly babies and christmas puds in my basket so far though!

inchoccyheaven · 22/10/2012 00:39

I couldn't find the lego soaps either :( last year I did buy lego men chocs off ebay though which were cool and there is some one on face book in my area that makes lego crayons cheap.

inchoccyheaven · 22/10/2012 00:43

Just looked on ebay and there are loads of lego soaps yay Grin
