Really stumped for what to buy my Mum. Spritely pensioner with more bath & beauty products, scarves, bags and jewellery than she knows what to do with. Ditto classical CDs and cookbooks. Help!

BlameItOnTheCuervForHumanBlood · 15/10/2012 22:15

Thank you Oreo, I really appreciate it. they are v good and pay out pretty quickly. I use it for pet insurance etc, and have earned 100's off it.

Choccy, jewellery? amazon has some lovely stuff

Waitrose have got 3 for 2 on various food gift bits & similar items.

Choccy - can you get your Mum a membership/tickets for something? I've done that for mine before and she's been pleased. A friend came up with the inspired idea last year of a "granny/granddaughter day" and paid for her mum to take her granddaughter (so my friend's daughter) to a matinee show & then for afternoon tea. Apparently her mum loved it as she wouldn't be able to afford to treat her granddaughter to that sort of thing herself and had a wonderful day. Obviously the granddaughter loved it and my friend had a Saturday to herself!

Right hijack over!

Thanks for all the links. Am going to get the skylanders wii starter kit from play.com as recommended

rhondajean · 15/10/2012 22:53

Plus am waiting for the results of a slightly tiddly Saturday night credit card spree to arrive in the post.

Do NOT let me buy anything that isn't off my list from now on will you??

sgts · 15/10/2012 23:05

The Crabtree & Evelyn hand creams are now £36 for four. Normally they are £14 each. There are about four or five different ones and are in lovely gift boxes.

quoteunquote · 15/10/2012 23:59

these are great stocking fillers, secret santa presents, men seem to love them, the dark blue ones seem to be popular,

Quite a clever idea LED lights in a cap, we were given a stack and I was surprised how quickly they were whipped up by teens, men and dog walking friends.
