Ive just done the same mistress , I ordered a hand cream using my email then went back on and ordered a lipbalm using DH's. Means paying postage twice but still works out cheaper.

LauraPashley · 03/10/2012 21:20

Not strictly onlIne but thought you ladies would know...anyone heard of a date for the sainsburys 1/2 price toy sale? Normally mid oct I think?

rhondajean · 03/10/2012 21:22

Been keeping my eyes peeled like mad Laura but nothing yet.

It started on a Thursday last year, during English half term, so my money is on Thursday 25th but that's just a guess.

WineGless · 03/10/2012 21:26

Reastie, I'm having problems with uniqlo site too

3duracellbunnies · 03/10/2012 21:37

Definitely not online, but 20% off everything in Hobbycraft instore tomorrow with voucher below. Was a bit of a pain to print, but moved it into acrobat and printed there. Could just be dh trying to stop me spending money!!!

Maybe more for yourselves than presents but Amazon currently have the mums family planner and mums family calendar for £5.50 each.

Real bargain and much jollier than the organised mum ones - similar but with colours and cartoons and loads of very sweet cartoon animal stickers (can you tell I'm a convert - have had the calendar the last three years and love it! used organised mum ones previously but found them a bit drab and also difficult to see dates on, these are nice and big and clear). I have next year's already on order, should be arriving any day now...

fuzzpig · 03/10/2012 21:44

aww bit disappointed with past times, there were hardly any tree decorations on there. :(

I have a hobbycraft voucher from my local paper, got to try and get there but it is a bit out of the way.

Now browsing bookpeople site... This could get pricey.

LaTrucha · 03/10/2012 21:47

piggly - were you able to use a code with that tractor? My son would love it.

NorbertDentressangle · 03/10/2012 21:50

The Orla Kiely scarves are lovely - I ordered one for me and got it last week.

MistressIggi - They have an 'Orla Kiely' label on the scarf (sewn into the hem IYSWIM) and they also come on a small hanger with a sticker on and with a small cardboard tag (both with the Orla Kiely name/logo on)

Definitely worth the money IMO!

LaTrucha · 03/10/2012 21:58

If anyone sees the Baby Annabell carseat / jogger thing on offer can you post pretty please?

MistressIggi · 03/10/2012 21:58

THanks Norbert, that's great - have ordered two Smile

pigleychez · 03/10/2012 21:59

LaTrucha - Sadly not because it was already reduced.

It looks great though and the lights flash and the horn beeps. Looks well built too and life like to the real John deere Tractors. I'll warn you though, its pretty big!

LaTrucha · 03/10/2012 22:02

DS will ride it! I bought him a tonka truck and he rides that.

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey · 03/10/2012 22:09

iggy Norbert beat me to it! Mine came on the hangers too.

Allice · 03/10/2012 22:13

I read yesterday (although I can't remember where, may have been MSE) that there isn't going to be a Sainsbury's half price toy sale this year.

It has always started during half term in the past.

thewhistler · 03/10/2012 22:18

Marking place as now have 8 godchildren, god help me, from 20 to 1.

happierhigherstrongerwheezing · 03/10/2012 22:34

Thank you for the Molton brown codes, ordered three things!

LauraPashley · 03/10/2012 23:09

Nooooo to no sainsbos sale!! That is where Santa gets all his toys!!

When is the English half term?

BerryLellow · 03/10/2012 23:14

Lurking - I really need to get started with Christmas shopping!

louiespence · 03/10/2012 23:17

Thanks again from me for Molton Brown code, just bought great gifts for 2 people!!

rhondajean · 03/10/2012 23:20

Bugger I was after a few things from sainsburys - Moshi monsters, some monster high dolls and my little pony princess cadence if anyone seems them on special...

fuzzpig · 03/10/2012 23:21

just spent over an hour on the book people, bloody hell that was exhausting! I'm not usually up this late Blush

spend £41 - got 4 books for DSD (it was so hard to narrow it down, I wanted to buy about 10!), 5 colouring/activity books for DD, some crafty things for DH to do with DD (paper planes and robots!), and a set of 30 kids birthday cards to save time/effort/cash for all the damn school parties.

also got a free RHS diary, they are really lovely - I gave one to my nan a couple of years back but in the interest of not repeating a gift I think I have to keep it for myself yes?

3duracellbunnies · 03/10/2012 23:26

I reckon sburys will have a bumper new year sale then, their toys are usually so expensive I only buy them on offer.

everydayaschoolday · 03/10/2012 23:30

Thanks Moosey. Have ordered Molton Brown too using the coupon. I choose the same handcream as you, as I think lovely MIL will love it, and will sit nicely in her christmas 'beauty' hamper. Smashing bargain with free sampler and free gift box thrown in Smile
