OK we all have to say that we're 100% organised when Rabid gets back.

Waitrose order placed- check
M&S Food Order placed-check
All the presents wrapped, ribboned, bowed and gift tagged-check
Table set and candles poised to light- check
Sprouts on a low heat-check

Yeah, right Grin

JazzyTheSnowman · 28/10/2012 15:13

I've got all my presents scouted, listed and waiting. DS has been bought for and all have been wrapped.

I've also put my Christmas food order in with Sainsbury's, put the tree up in the spare room to air it out and I've got all my ribbons, bows, papers, gift bags and tags waiting!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 28/10/2012 15:28

We got our tree out of the loft (but only because it was being insulated) so it's gone back up now. Grin

I did find lots of Christmas Bags and paper that I'm going to give to DDs school for their Christmas Fayre.
It'll be her last one hoorah. No more standing 30 minutes in the playground and getting crushed in the corridor BooHoo end of an era and all that Sad
She's off to Secondary next year.

FairyTrain · 28/10/2012 16:16

I have put a Christmas countdown on my mobile. I've input 25th December but it's telling me it's 57 days Confused

Why could this be different? What if I miss Christmas? Shock

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 29/10/2012 08:31

Kinora There's a countdown on page 15 (IIRC day 188 to the Big Day)

At the moment it's 56 days and 15 hours.

So maybe your mobile countdown is counting the 25th as well?

Rabid you are a true warrior. 2 days shopping then again today. (Doffs hat in the style of Shrek's Puss in Boots )

RabidCarrot · 29/10/2012 21:21

Ok so we're finally at the last day of October! Only 1 more month to go until Jimmy the Elf arrives at our house - can you tell I am very excited about this?

We put in a big order to Early Learning Centre so ds finally has some thing for Christmas. Going to Tesco tomorrow for the double up voucher toy offer for dd's "pink horsey", she has been showing it to me everytime we go into the shop for the last three months! Ad that's it, no more for dcs will have to stay off the bargain thread

I just need to get the rest of family. I will be using a few tesco vouchers to buy pressies, I am still on maternity and we are getting a bit skint!

titsalina hope things are ok x

WantAnOrange · 31/10/2012 07:44

Ohmygod! 55 days? It's the first year I'm doing christmas at home, the ILs have been invited, I have a 4 weeks old that wont be put down and I have done NOTHING!

PANIC!

flubba · 31/10/2012 07:55

Don't panic, 55 days is loads - even in just half that time your 4 week old will be nearly 3 months old. Make sure you get the ILs to do stuff/bring stuff when they come to help.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Lemonylemon · 31/10/2012 14:34

Lurking on this thread..... I can't get my head around all this Christmas stuff until DD has had her birthday. Luckily, it's today :)

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 31/10/2012 15:42

Lemony how old is your DD?

Does she realise how fabulously lucky she is to be born on Hallowe'en?

Or what a rum day she picked for you to be on the labour ward? (I think I'd rather be giving birth on Hallowe'en that Friday 13 th though) Grin

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 31/10/2012 15:43
