I did very little in the way of Christmas this year and it's been dull.

So next year I plan to decorate with greenery, do crafty activities, make presents, read Night Before Christmas on Christmas Eve, have a nice breakfast etc.

What have you regretted from this year?
What will you def do next year?

(And do I win the prize for earliest Christmas thread???? Xmas Hmm)

Make sure we've got plenty of Christmas Films.
Last year they saw "Arthur Christmas" at the cinema (Traditional Christmas trip)
And at home "Elf" "Home Alone" and "Nativity"

I'm going to find "Woman in Black" for me- I love a scary Christmas film.

And remember to get all the wrapping done (I managed last year ) about a week before the big day.

And, of course, no matter how old they are- the delight of a Big Box Present, all wrapped up. (As they get older, the presents get smaller ,££ and fewer)

Maybe this year I'll get to the school Carol Concert.
DD will be in Yr 6 (my baby DC) so it's my last chance.

This year I'll make sure I think about Carol Services early enough to take dd1 to one. I thought I had loads of time last year and then we missed them. I am going to 'deep clean' the house at the beginning.of December rather than leaving it to the week before, then getting stressed about doing that and everything else. I have got loads of ideas of here, like putting wrapping paper over the door for dc's to burst through and us all having bath's putting New pj's on and driving round to look at all the lights. Also the Christmas eve hamper is a very good idea. Ooooo I'm sooooo excited, I keep thinking get August out of the way and Christmas things will start appearing in the shops. nobody else seems to appreciate it when I say that but I don't care
