Getting out the Pandoro (Italian Christmas sponge with a lights dusting of powdered sugar) and a Panettone...mmm...plus loads of coffee to keep me going as I cook, before the wine comes out...Xmas Grin

Grin Santa at falling asleep in turkey!
Managed to get a last-minute Ocado order in - 24th December - and 5 BAGS OF MINI FROZEN CROISSANTS WOOO HOOO!!!
Extortionate delivery charge though - bah humbug to Waitrose...still, saves me loads of stress going in person, I guess.
Ah, so dippy eggs are simply soft boiled? Got it

They are here. Read the reviews as there are some good suggestions. I always use active dry yeast dissolved in the warm buttermilk rather than instant.

I want one right now.

Am I the only person who just inhales chocolate coins from the moment they wake up?! I do have smoked fish and eggs at some point though.

mammanetta · 22/12/2011 22:22

Yes I have actually stopped eating altogether and am just consuming wine until the big day. January will see me compulsively doing Zumba classes and trying to to the SHRED video.

We have white toast (only time of the year we have white bread, so kids think it's fabulous!) with pate, and lots of champers (for adults, obv - kids have tea).

Strange, but yum.

Last year we graxed on tropical fruits (persimmon, lychees, blueberries, rasps and grapes) and a croissant each. Twas lush and DD aged then 3 was very excitedby all the different fruits..... [we were concerned at her preference for these over the choc orange but hey ho...]

Doing the same this year :)
