what do boys age 9-13 really, really want??

I have a few boys to buy for in this age range including my own DS age 10 who wants anything and everything from Superdry for xmas apparently ! But I don't want to get him clothes for xmas, so what does everyone buy for their boys of around the same age - it sounds like I don't know him well but he has suddenly reached that age where toys are 'babyish' so besides xbox games what is there?

Please tell me everything your boys are into then I can steal some ideas from you

sparkling I have a feeling I may back down on my stance, although seeing as this is the child Is tarted 2 threads about recently one in which I said I was worried about his fire starter obsession and one last night in which I commented on him throwing carving knives round the kitchen, I do worry that this might lead to something else

Buy the Nerf combat shelter to hide in like I have miSaltire. Or a gun of your own with extra bullets.

I don't have the nerf combat shelter. I do have ample supply of amazon boxes so I could make one.

My dgs[just 9] has asked for National Geographic 3D Spiders and The Guiness Book of Records

I will also be joining everyone in the Nerf Shelter on Christmas Day - DS is having 4 of them from Us, FC, godmother and granny, so he has loads of options for when his friends come round.
Plus about £50 of foam darts, a watch, digital clock radio for his bedroom, HP Lego 5-7 on Wii and Kung Fu Panda 2 DVD

Yay! I have just tracked down a Nerf Fury fire set (everyone else had sold out except hamleys who want £10 more than anyone else!) - Toys r us with £5 off and free delivery, so I am here to reserve my place in the Nerf Shelter on xmas day......

Why get yourselves a smaller gun? the adults should have the huge ones
Forgot to say I also bought a paper jamz drum kit from the Entertainer yesterday, they have all the paper Jamz at half price there.

DS2 is having the Paper Jam guitar take! What a great Christmas were are going to have.

Wow....great minds (or not!)......we really are going to have identical, noisy, crazy, adrenaline fuelled xmas's sparkling lots of fun for the boys and an endurance test for us!

I did go and buy some extra bullets yesterday take. We will be finding them everywhere.
