Playmobil Post office advent calendar has 20% off on John Lewis here. Looks fun!

I was just panicking that I would have to set up DCs calendars.

DD (6) has got the dragon one and DD (3) has got a pony one.

I bought them last yr but decided DD was too young so kept them for this year

We had the forest one for DS last year, yes - haven't seen it on sale anywhere this year. Few on ebay though, so that's worth a look.

Yes Jareth - it's perfect and what I was looking for, and I managed to get the last one in JL today! Do I make the DC share it though.......
That's why I was thinking of getting a 2nd one, as the presents this year are being kept to a minimum so this will actually be one of them.

I got mine from ebay Eldon from a seller called moe-sales. No P&P and turned up fast. I got a Police one though - not sure if they do the Post Office one but worth a look

I got DD the fairy unicorn one. I set it up last night. It took me an hour and a half. Its the pesky cardboard thingy with holes for each day that takes forever to set up. I'm sure someone will be along to say they did it in 10 minutes, but I am crapper than crap at that kind of thing. Thank the Lord I didn't leave it til 30 Nov.

DS has Lego Star Wars ready assembled. But - the Playmo one looks much better qualidee.

My DS1 is nearly 14, so Playmobil has been in this house for over 10 years,
but for some reason we have not had an advent calendar.

Last week I went looking on ebay and we now have 2 calendars (Christmas in the Park and Christmas Eve) and a selection of other Christmas figures and room settings etc. I got one for DS2 who is 6. Then thought I had better get one for DS1. The other stuff seemed reasonably priced so I got that too. I am going to set it all out on the window ledge of the family room. I have even bought some fake snow to add to the overall tackiness.

I am having to stop myself buying the dolls house to put it all in.

Help at the age of 42 I am addicted to Playmobil.

We had the Santa and sleigh one which came out for several years. Last year we saw the police one reduced by a lot so bought it. Boys loved it! They were 15&13 btw

Got the post office calendar free from toys r us last weekend they had a deal on if you spend £45 on PM you got an advent calendar free. We got the ark on sale for £39.99 & bought a Santa and angel for a fiver. the ark looks brilliant as does the calendar. Can't wait til December now
