Anyone else started early and got their decs up yet?

only kidding, but thought there would be a few mutterings of 'oh ffs' when reading the OP

im normally 1st of Decmber but we move on the 19th December and yes the xmas tree be up even maybe befoe the beds .But getting a sneak christmas feeling as were of to Cp end of the month

There is an estate near us which has two houses opposite each other which have a christmas decz (for bof ) rivalry - the houses get decorated earloer each year, and I think last year they went up in the second week of November.

Bloody nutters.

My decorations go up the last weekend before Christmas and go down on 12th night.

Ours will go up the 2nd weekend Dec and come down the day after new year.

well ours definatley are not up but next doors are!!! and have been for a couple of weeks, my daughter is most disgusted as they went up before halloween and her birthday and made a passing comment about silly aunty lizzy getting confused, my DD's are nearly 5 and even they realise this is a bit crazy

DH has just come in and dragged me outside. People over the road have put theirs up. The outside of the house is covered with lights. Love it. I'm so jealous but not brave enough to put ours up yet. Plus DH would probably divorce me.
