Oh and a framed photo of the DD's that he asked for..

Stocking will be practical stuff like toothbrush, pork scratchings (bleeuugh) nuts and a lottery ticket for the next lottery after xmas day.

Decided to keep the cufflinks and aftershave back maybe for valentines day because I have found These books which he will love and DS has got him a little desk top rugby game from Burton.

Not sure. We are coming to England next week so will go shopping there.
I am loving the sound of the 100 objects book, he'd love that.
We both have more or less what we want, if there's anything we want during the year we buy it then. It makes getting DH any present difficult.
He would really like an ipad, but wants to wait unti the next one comes out. I am such a technonob I have to rely on DD to help me out. She is 9.7 Blush

pjs and dressing gown for christmas eve like the rest of us.
couple of second hand books, he had more but he was ill in bed a few weeks ago so...
a new London AtoZ (his fell to pieces but was so old the Jubilee line wasn't on it)
A plastic bowl decorated with crisps and some unusual flavours of crisps (he likes crispsGrin)
a chess clock (FiL is visiting so they will play most nights)
Stratego (to play with ds1)
so other small game called Mapominoes (to play with me)
an airfix kit (he has got ds2 into them so we will have a building afternoon over christmas)

He never 'wants' anything so his presents are on the whole designed to be things that promote family time.

So far I have got him Vera Wang aftershave and a magic wand. Now I'm stumped. I won't get him clothes as we go sale shopping so seems silly to get him stuff that will be reduced a week later.

DH and I always make something for eachother, with a £10 budget to spend on materials. This year I'll be making a picture of a fox for him (inspired by one we've seen in a gallery).

Not sure this is much help to you but mine is getting:

swimming lessons
a cycling t-shirt
a cycling book
a book about triathlons

Can you see where I'm going with this one? Grin

Rudolphsnose · 13/12/2010 17:17

Tigerbear, it's a lovely idea, but after the lukewarm response my handmade artwork got for our anniversary I won't bother again :(

nappyaddict · 22/12/2010 00:18

If anyone needs some last minute bits and bobs Home Bargains have got The Shaving Company, Gillette and Nivea stuff really cheap.

EvaLongoria · 22/12/2010 00:48

Because its our Anniversary on the 23rd, his birthday on the 24th and then chrismas I am getting him Guitar hero game with the bundle, a gaming chair, dressing gown, cufflinks (been moaning that he wants a pair) got his John Legend CD already and he went to the concert and then we are planning to go away in the new year for a joint Anniversary and 30th Birthday Present

nappyaddict · 14/07/2012 22:38

Have started thinking about what I'm getting this year for DP Grin

So far have thought about getting him a new True Blood book if there's one out (got him the boxset last year)
Chris Ryan books (he loves the TV series Strikeback)
Game of Throne A Song of Ice and Fire book series
PS3 game, but not sure which one, will have to wait for him to watch an advert and tell me it looks good!!
Northampton Saint's wooly hat and gloves if they do them
New rugby shirt
Something to do with Family Guy
The annual christmas themed boxers and socks
Some new smelly trousers (jogging bottoms which he only has 1 pair of at the moment which he refuses to put in the wash until I peel them off him)
Man bag for work
Dressing gown
Big fluffy blanket (he's been after one for ages and always steals my pink one Angry)
