I have got dh-

A pair of trainers-Amazon have such amazing deals-they were under £20!

A 'Ramones' hoody -it was about £12 in the Play.co.uk sale, he plays the Ramones all the time and saying 'Hey Ho Lets Go' makes me laugh.

A ticket to RSC at Stratford. His best mate gets a ticket off his wife too and they get to have a nice days outing without family. I tend to fall asleep in theatre, but he loves it so it's ideal.

A ticket to a poetry reading and the matching book of poetry. Another of his passions and another night out- I do think experiential stuff is best because if we really need it we buy it.

He will be getting pants, whisky and cds/books off his Amazon wish list from the rest of his family and my Mum.

Never sure to get stuff for him from kids or not-will try and think of something they can make. Might take them to Funki pots so they can paint him a mug, but if anyone has homemade ideas I'd love to know.

We have a £25 limit this year. Have already got him a t-shirt from www.shotdeadinthehead.com/ . Don't know what I'll spend the other £15 on yet, but probably a couple of little things so he has a few.presents to open.

Bongos! Not entirely sure why other than the idea of it makes me giggle. And they're cheap in Lidl next week.

GetorfmoiLand: We are doing something similar as we don't need anything. xx

A nice leather satchel for work - he's been using an old, frayed backpack forever and is too disorganised to do anything about it.

Book vouchers. I know it's what you get given by an uncle, but he buys a lot of books and can't think of any specific titles he currently wants. I'd rather let him choose as and when.

I may also buy him a couple of shirts if I see anything particularly nice.

We're having a long weekend away in early December, which is my treat to him, so we're treating that as a big part of his Christmas present. Or I am, anyway!

A subscription to The Economist. We live in France so this way DH gets to keep in touch with what's happening in the UK and elsewhere (doesn't speak much French so TV and radio here are no good for this). And it means he gets to feel all grown up Smile

New mattress. Also probably a new laptop due to last weeks tea incident.
