Fair enough.

The pharmacist should have known though...

Just buck up and lie. Sure, you don't want to. Well, we all have to do lots of things we don't want.

i just went into the chemist to get something and looked at the packets of medised - it says over 2s.

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 15/06/2009 17:43

our local chemist sold it to my DH reminding him that he needs to lie next time when they ask him how old his children are.

PerfectPrefect · 15/06/2009 18:04

Choufleur they are still catching up with the repackaging. The pahramcist won't (shouldn't) sell you it though. They will tell you verbally that it is over 6's only.

Havent read the whole thread but agree its mad that they have changed the rules for medised. It has never helped my kids sleep but always seemed better than calpol for many ailments.

I can understand why they have done it though when i see how my neighbour abuses it. The other day she lent me a new unopened bottle, i gave it to my son after he hurt his leg, then gave it straight back. A few days later she gave the bottle to my neighbour to use and it was almost empty. The only way to use that much in such a short time would be if she was using it too much which could explain why her 2yr old looked spaced out the other night.
