I am so stressed I am struggling to stay calm. Am so knackered and know that once I settle her I will have to start my mountain of work.

I feel like such a cow as I can feel myself rising to snap at her and she is not well.

Ain't that the truth re holidays

Sorry if I've annoyed you.

Shoshe · 26/04/2009 22:22

Hope she is OK Twins.

And an i just say that twins and I live in a small market town, the nearest A & E is 0 mils away, the nearest out of hours doctor on a Sunday is 15 miles away.

it is cold and windy here, not sure I would want to take a child, that Mum knows can be a bit over dramatic over illness out in the cold at this time of night.

Shoshe · 26/04/2009 22:23

That should be A&E 20 miles away.

twinsetandpearls · 26/04/2009 22:28

You haven't annoyed me, I suspect I would be annoyed with Brad Pit writing naked in front of me at the momment.

Shoshe is right going to A and E is not straightforward. I had to go a few weeks ago and had a not very nice drive at 11pm which almost resulted in a crash on the way home.

We have conacted out of hours and they have said we can have a priority appointment in the morning.

Ah, that does make it tricky. Painkillers and cuddles then, and GP in the morning.

Hope she's better soon.

TheFallenMadonna · 26/04/2009 22:31

Phew. Now go to bed!

twinsetandpearls · 26/04/2009 22:35

I am doing an idiots guide to religion for my bottom group year 11s. It is not very hard work and will make my life so much easier tomorrow.

I have double bottom set year 11 core RE. Joy of Joys!

I also have bottom set year 10 - to whom I have to explain the principles of radioactive decay

And bottom set year 8. But with them we will just make a lot of noise and call it science...

twinsetandpearls · 26/04/2009 22:45

Good luck with that!

Howe is she today?

twinsetandpearls · 27/04/2009 18:07

She seems much chirpier, dp said she slept in quite late which is not like her and she has been quiet which is even more unlike her.

She has been to the doctor who has given her some antibiotics and painkillers. Her ear is ejecting a lot of gunk at the moment but thanks to the tablets she is not in pain.

She went back to school today and only made it to lunch time and had to be sent home as she was crying again.
