I'm just wondering if anyone else has had any experience with this type of rash. It appeared out if nowhere yesterday morning and is getting worse. She is covered in blisters. She is otherwise well but not much of an appetite. I would have thought chicken pox but they are not itchy. Thanks.

I had chickenpox when I was 20yo at university.

It didn't itch until day 3, by which point I was very liberally covered. What happened was up to that point my temperature had been up, and I woke at 4am, very hot and couldn't go back to sleep again. There was no one else about, so I went downstairs and walked round in the cold air. When I came back, my temperature was normal, but I started itching.
I itched through the night until the next morning, when I decided to go for a hot shower to ease the itching.
I had a very long hot shower and my temperature went right up again-but no longer itched.

I'm not sure having a temperature actually stopped me itching, but it felt like that.

Thank you so much for all your replies. Just to update it was definitely chicken pox. Took pictures to the pharmacist later that day. She is absolutely covered now and very itchy.
