I had a very strange reaction to a tick bite, I won’t scare you with the details but I would say make an appointment to see a dr on Tuesday. My illness was a one in a million type thing, so definitely not that but best to get checked out.

It could also be a spider bite. I’ve had one of those too, false widow, lucky aren’t I!?!

If you’re in an area with ticks, and lymes, the dr will know. Keep a close eye, I’m sure she will be fine though.

Looks like a spider bite. I thought lymes disease typically caused a bulls-eye target shaped rash

If it’s left without treatment it will progress to a bulls eye look.

Spider bites usually have fang marks- as in two dots where the skin was pierced. This actually could be a spider bite, but unfortunately the DD has scratched the bite in her sleep so it’s all a scan now and cannot tell if it’s an insect that bites with one piercing or two piercings.

So, best I think to get it checked out.

Asking what you did OP? Have a similar situation, looked like a scratch but now 5 days later it's red around it. Will book GP tomorrow. What did you do in the end? Thanks
