Almost 8 year old boy with breast bud anyone else?

Has anyone’s son had a breast bud but no other signs of puberty?

My son currently has a lump under his nipple which paediatrics think is a breast bud but have said he is too young so they’re doing further tests as he’s not showing any other signs of puberty either.

Worried sick at the moment wondering what on Earth is wrong 😑

Couldn’t bare it if it was anything sinister 😭

You knew exactly what the OP meant when she said she, "couldn't bare it."
Your post of all fake concern and reassuring her it could be exposed to the sun was purely designed to make her have to reply with some apology for using the wrong word. You wanted to humiliate her. You knew her post had nothing to do with being worried about exposing his chest to the sun.

I've been known to correct people on here when they consistently use the wrong word, but I'm just blunt about it. I don't go about making up fake concerns or being all wide eyed innocence pretending I dont understand what they clearly mean.[/quote]
Blimey, are you for real?

Please don't attribute motives to others. You don't know me. I doubt even the op thinks what you did.

@Maggiesfarm - you are the unreal one! The OP obviously thought the same as libraries because she told you earlier that she found your deleted first post nasty! Who do you think must have reported your post in the first place? You are obviously deluded!

Maggiesfarm · 17/06/2021 22:35

All right, it just wouldn't have occurred to me is all. I do believe people should be direct and say if they really believe someone has said something out of place. I didn't realise I had until I came back and saw my post had been deleted and don't deserve to be so insulted. As for op, I've no idea what she thought; I saw, afterwards, where she said it had seemed a bit nasty or something but I assumed that had been put into her head because she'd said nothing to me about it. My post and another post had gone by then so I couldn't go back and correct anything.

I'm sorry, op. Not much else I can say really. I'll bow out of the thread but hope all goes well.

Hey, he had several tests done at hospital but nothing unusual was found and it did eventually just go. I was so worried when it appeared but so relieved when he had tests and it went away. X

@Vampyhooch1987 thank you so much for your quick reply! Really glad to hear that all was well with your son! Will take my little one to the doctors next week but obviously making me anxious! X

Oh I sympathise with you - it made me really anxious too. All sorts was going through my mind at the time. I’m sure the doctors will be able to have a look and ease your worries X

@Vampyhooch1987 How long did it take to go away if you don’t mind me asking? My ds is 7.5 and we just discovered one also. He has hospital appt in couple of months. Worrying, but not that much if others have experienced this also. Thank you in advance

I’d say a couple of months. I sympathise with you as it is a worrying time and everything went through my mind but luckily it was just something that resolved itself! X
