Trazzletoes · 20/11/2012 09:14

Thanks for all your support.

This morning I've woken up with a cold which is rubbish. I feel rubbish and DS is coming up to the point in his cycle where he can't fight off bugs Sad.

We had a lovely weekend though - took DS on his first ever carousel, DH and I had a date night to see Skyfall...

DS is still doing well. All is good.

Pleased you had a nice weekend and hopefully being able to relax a little.

There are so many colds going round at the moment that it is hard not to pick something up. Have you got some Sinutab/Sudafed? It may help to make you feel a little better. Hopefully Joe and his sister don't pick it up.

How is the crocheting going?

GlaikitFizzog · 20/11/2012 11:59

Trazzle, bar the cold, I'm so please to read that (skyfall is brill isn't it). :)

Unhelpful advice follows, feel free to ignore! I swear by berocca, I've hardly had a cold since I started taking one every morning. Bit late for this cold, but hey!

Take care of yourself.

chocolateistheenemy · 20/11/2012 12:07

Hey there Trazzle - what fabulous news that Joseph is doing so well.
I wanted to respond to your comment on another thread re Playmobil... it occurred to me that you might find the 'Take-a-long' sets useful if you're back and fore the hospital. My DS has the police station one and it all folds up neatly with a carry handle. There are several types...
Hope your cold isn't too horrible.
Have a good day Smile

ToffeeWhirl · 20/11/2012 16:17

Hi Trazzle. Haven't been on for a bit, thanks to RL getting busy, but have been thinking of you. Sorry to hear you have a cold Sad. I hope you manage to fight it off soon. I swear by Lemsip. My DH and I also had a 'date night' to see Skyfall. Like you, I really enjoyed it (in spite of the fact that I fell asleep briefly at the beginning Blush - it was just nice to sit down for a change, I think!).

I am so, so glad to hear that Joseph is doing well at the moment. That is wonderful news.

thewhistler · 20/11/2012 19:43

When in doubt a whisky toddy helps clear it and if you are still bfing there will be rapturous silence. I know the pc parade would not approve but..

Hope this week goes well despite the cold.

Four4me · 20/11/2012 19:44

Super news about the results. Hope the cold is short lived.

Thinking of even if I'm not mning!!!!

Sagelynodding · 20/11/2012 19:59

I haven't posted on this thread for ages, but I have been reading and thinking of you all.

Grin So happy to read about your good news, and I hope your cold gets better very quickly. Thanks

Trazzletoes · 20/11/2012 20:02

whistler sadly had to stop bfeeding when all this started as it was too much hassle with not knowing when I would be around to feed DD and when I wouldn't, and if I got blocked ducts she was the only thing that could clear them.

thewhistler · 20/11/2012 22:52

Alas, but at least that means you can gave whistler toddy with a clean conscience.

1 measure your fave spirit
I measure your fave fruit juice
1 or more spoonful honey
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
V important ginger

Put in mug. Top up with hot water. Stir. Drink

Looks revolting. Effect wonderful. Ginger is what the Chinese use to clear a cold.

blizy · 21/11/2012 06:47

Still thinking of you all trazzle, hope the cold goes soon. Splodge of light from me in Las Vegas (I'm on honeymoon).

Trazzletoes · 21/11/2012 06:55

Happy honeymoon!

I hope so too. Feel worse today though. And not sure how today will work. I need to take DS to hospital because the dressing has come off where his Hickman Line goes in to his chest. But equally since I have a cold I can't take him... sigh
