I have left flasks if anybody wants some.

Brought some costa latte's in thermal cups, and a thermas holdall with bacon sarnies in........ mums wanders off to see if there is a plan of whats happening

I took on siblings, so only deal with one family but they've just bought a new house and I'm expecting notice this week. They did ask if I would continue but it would mean a 15 minute drive to pick up and drop children off as they don't drive. I knew this work is unreliable but I hoped to have a bit more than 2 months. Back to advertising I guess

No not yet! It's taken too long to get here. This time my DH is out of work too though so I only have a month or 2 before I'll haveto have a rethink. Fingers, toes and eyes are all crossed!

Hi all, quick pop in whilst on tea break from cleaning (you know, the deep clean sort prior to Ofsted visits ).

Please....can someone tell me.........what is going on with the staff room recently??!! Is it just that someone decided to decorate recently?

Mumnosbest - sorry about the possibility of loosing a family, when I had siblings I had a 2 month notice period in contract as too much income would be lost if they leave. In the end I gave notice to THEM so I told them they could leave earlier if found someone else earlier. I hope you find something soon! If I remember correctly, you're the one who lives in the same town I grew up?

Anyway, tea finished, best get back to it!! I'll be glad when it's all over and done with now. I've told ds1 that I'm doing NO WORK next weekend and that we'll have nice family time. We're going to go swimming as a family for the first time, ds2 not been yet so should be fun. Roll on next weekend!!

Hi looneytune (good old Tickhill). That's a very good idea about longer notice period, will definately use that in future. Have fun cleaning! I'm going out so I don't have to think about that (for now )

Yes, I think should put longer notice period if get siblings again but can always say if you fill space sooner then if they want they can leave sooner. Anyway, I wish you all the best for filling them again. Have you bumped CIS listing recently? Have you seen the Advertising Tips thread?

Have got some lovely cakes for you all that were left over from the lunch.

I have been having some more eyfs drummed into me experience.
Please can we have some soft chairs in the staff room as 6 1/2hrs sat on plastices chairs has given me bum ache, so going to lie down.
