Hope this is allowed as seem to be some threads on people needing babysitters and people not being keen on sitters agency, so thought those who do offer a babysitting service could add details to this thread - if not ok please could some one delete it, dont want to get into trouble!!!

I do have a question for you. Some advice would be appreciated.

I am professional, multilingual who works and lives in London. I have been in London for almost 10 years now. I am well travelled with various experiences under my belt. Prior joining the corporate world I use to teach after school children from the age of 6 to 14 ( not in the UK).

My question is, I would love to go back to teaching and or looking after kids in the evening and weekends for some extra money since I don't really have much to do 5 to 8 hours per week. I am told that i would need to have a DBS check, which I am happy to do. But, what else do you recommend I should do in order to be suitable for the position?

I love kids, I speak Italian fluently, I can read and write French and Spanish, so happy to help with homeworks. Or, I can just babysit when parents want to have a night out.
