If you are a CM who is considering giving up because of the EYFS, then BBC News would very much like to talk to you.

If you are interested, please email me on arthur dot adams53 at tiscali dot co dot uk and I can then mail you a name and number to contact.

Hi Arfa - not me - as I'm not giving up

Would they be prepared to discuss someone who thinks it will make life difficult & isn't ideal?

Arfa · 26/08/2008 12:53

Possibly. You could speak to the BBC person and see what they think.

Please email me.

i had to come in and find out what a CM was meant to know that an optician wouldn't

Booh · 26/08/2008 16:11

I was on our local BBc radio station talking about it last week!

Arfa · 26/08/2008 16:20

This might be a silly question, but were you for or against, Booh?

Air time is due to be 07:30, BBC1.
If setting your PVR/video recorder, I would suggest recording 07:00-08:00, to make sure you catch it.

KatyMac · 26/08/2008 21:58

& Radio 5 at either (or both) 6:35 & 8:20

nannynick · 26/08/2008 22:44

06:35 hmm, I'll just be getting up then.

MrsFluffleHasAWuffle · 27/08/2008 12:45

AbbaFan · 27/08/2008 12:54

I missed it

Will it be on-line anywhere to catch up with?

MrsFluffleHasAWuffle · 27/08/2008 13:04

www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer I would imagine?

Arfa · 27/08/2008 13:07

You might see something on News 24, but you can't see BBC Breakfast again. However, you can hear Katymac on Radio 5 Breakfast via the BBC iPlayer.

You don't have to listen to the whole programme because she is on at 33 minutes into the programme and in a slightly longer piece with someone from Ofsted at 2 hours 19 minutes.

Did I do OK?

southeastastra · 27/08/2008 15:25

yes! you made me laugh! well done, been on radio4 now this

KatyMac · 27/08/2008 15:39

Whih bit made you laugh (was I funny ha-ha or funny peculiar?)

KatyMac · 27/08/2008 15:54

DH forgot to tape me

Arfa · 27/08/2008 16:25

KatyMac: we've recorded it onto DVD so we can send you a copy once we've got our breath back.

PS Didn't anyone see Pat, my wife, in her recorded bit that was shown at 6am and 7am?

Also, the responses to the BBC News web page about the Ofsted report are ALL negative. As the BBC has to show balance, that must mean that all responses they received from CMs and parents alike must have been against the overly bureaucratic paperwork bit of the EYFS.

southeastastra · 27/08/2008 17:39

no not funny peculiar! was the bit when you were saying about if a child took their first steps etc

KatyMac · 27/08/2008 17:40
Grin
nannynick · 27/08/2008 19:05
