Creeps in wearing Dark Glasses and hat pulled down, makes for the coffee, and takes it straight.

Bloody Mo, I'ts all her fault!

Yeah, I have Mumlove!

Well, strictly speaking Crace, I'm still registered, but since their my neighbours and I'm doing it for fun, there's nothing they can do about it!

Right, brace yourselves, I'm having KFC for tea. Lets hope I don't throw coffee in my lap again! We were going to go out, the conversation went like this:
ME: What do you want for dinner?
DH: We could go out, since DD is still away.
ME: We could - if you like, what do you think?
DH: I can't be arsed, can you?
ME: Nah! KFC then?
DH: Lovely dear!

hi just to tell you, that for those of you who remember from tuesday ,I had an ofsted inspection due on friday or monday morning ,the woman has just called and cancled both dates and we are sat here with everything ready with no ofsted coming

MaureenMLove · 17/04/2008 19:24

Oh, that's a bummer! Has she re-scheduled?

mckenna83 · 17/04/2008 19:30

hi she said he will call again within the next 2 weeks but the 2 i look after only come as and when the parents need me so i might not have any1 till next month

crace · 17/04/2008 19:30

Bummer! Did she give you another set of dates?

Mo, at KFC. I've made me and DH lamb shanks with balsamic tomatoes and cous cous. With salad no less! Frankly, a KFC is much preferred

MaureenMLove · 17/04/2008 19:38

Oh Crace, I'd rather have lamb shanks, sound lovely!

McKenna, I know all Ofsted officers work differently, when it comes to marking you, but try to put her off until you are sure you have mindees. The inspection before last, I only got a satisfactory, because she came in August and everyone was on holiday, so she couldn't judge me interacting with the mindees! It depends how much you care about what they mark you as, I didn't care because I was already well established and didn't need Ofsted to tell me how good I was! But since, its your first one, it will look better from an advertising perspective if you can say OFSTED rated Good or Outstanding rather than Satisfactory.

eleanorsmum · 17/04/2008 20:03

ok now i want kfc for tea! got pasta............... not quite as yummy!

thanks crace - it feels good to be back out again! wroking keeping me busy!

katy - hug and another hug

mo - bought lots of cool toys for sandpit today from toysrus - and only spent £5! just need some sand now.........................lol!

looney - how's the back ache, hope you're ok hun. have a nice long bath tonight.

MaureenMLove · 17/04/2008 20:09

Jolly good! If only I had thought that one through, when I was clearing out. The garden toys were the first to go when I got the job in March! All went through the dishwasher and were away to the charity shop weeks before I uncovered the sandpit!

MaureenMLove · 17/04/2008 20:10

See, I'd have pasta instead of KFC too! Though, tbh, I'll eat anything! I don't favour any food, just eat it constantly!

crace · 17/04/2008 20:31

Sigh... just no pleasing some people hey?! Mo

KatyMac · 17/04/2008 20:41

Thanks everyone

I really don't know how to react or what to say

I am desolate

nannynick · 17/04/2008 21:42

Katy - probably best to sit on things for a while, let everyone involved get over what happened and then hope for the best.
