she said she will do an observation aswell so will that delay the children going back or are thay quick

I'm not a childminder, so I've never had one of these inspections. I have worked for Ofsted in the past though. Observation I would not think would that long, 1/2 hour perhaps.
Not sure what you are worried about... if you tell the inspector when they arrive that you have to go out at a certain time, I expect they will make sure they wrap things up in plenty of time.

Nick anything that isn't fabric goes in my dishwasher and anything that is goes in the washing machine! I use those laundry net bags. Lego, stickle bricks, plastic cooking toys, plastic stuff out of dolls house, you name it, I dishwasher it! Oh, sandpit toys, at the end of the summer too!

Mckenna83, dont worry but usual inspections are approx 2 hours..HOWEVER..i was told because of the EYFS being implimented that there should be NO inspection until September this year, so it may be more of a flying visit, they cant really check much other than your are keeping the children entertained and safe because all their procedures are being alterd..good luck with it
