I'm here. Just put 2 little ones down for nap and about to clear up breakfast stuff then have a cuppa I think. I'm not going to group today (advice I got on other thread last night) so going to have a chilled day if I can.

Have a good day everyone.

dmo · 03/04/2008 09:50

looneytune · 03/04/2008 09:54

Hi dmo. Nothing's happened in group, it was just something I put in Pregnant MN thread.

crace · 03/04/2008 10:25

Hi you all - LT, I feel your pain btw. It is turning into a nightmare really

looneytune · 03/04/2008 10:46

Just done a chicken casserole and it's in the slow cooker now

Crace - you ok hun? x

crace · 03/04/2008 11:01

Yep, am ok - it's all just so tiring at the moment and sore body. I still have 4 weeks to go tomorrow and dreading each day. Oh well, needs must and all that!

looneytune · 03/04/2008 11:19

Oh crace, it's so hard isn't it At this moment in time I'm wishing I was back in the office - much much easier and paid to be off etc.

Got the girls up from their naps and one of them had done a really big sloppy poo again (has done a few recently, pretty sure down to teething but how do you know for sure? ). It had leaked through her nappy and gone up her back etc. so big fight to get her clean then had to look for clean clothes. Need to clean the clothes now but I'll do that in a bit! They are sat having their snacks now then I need to do a bottle for one and start preparing their lunches.

At least it's Friday tomorrow! It really is Wed & Thurs I find the hardest now!

ROSEgarden · 03/04/2008 11:24

vInTaGeVioLeT · 03/04/2008 11:48

hi everyone - hope everyones ok - i don't seem to get into the staffroom much anymore and next 2 weeks are school holidays so i will be busy busy busy!!!!

MaureenMLove · 03/04/2008 12:18

Afternoon ladies! I've been a busy bee cleaning my house since 7.30 this morning. I did stop to take mindees to school! I'm done now and I'm knackered! Not sure it looks that much cleaner tbh. Bloody extention dust is getting on my wick. It gets everywhere!

Not sure how you can work without a kitchen Rose. Do you do dinners for them too? If not, just picnic lunches, I suppose.

Hey, pg ladies. Take it easy. Stop all non-essential journeys until the end now. Mothers know what its like, I'm sure they won't have a problem with it. And Looney, if someone was in need of a lift twice a week and you had to go 10 mins out of your way, would you do it? I think you probably would! Reward her with a bottle of plonk or summit, when you give up. I'm sure she'll be only to happy to help.

Hello to everyone else too. I'm going out now. Going to get some kitchen brochures!

BoysAreLikeDogs · 03/04/2008 13:24

Hi all

Quiet day, been to music group, lunch , mindee asleep now aw.

Be back later

crace · 03/04/2008 13:36

Quick girls - ds has apparently been invited to a bday party TODAY and it's pancakes - they said to bring a topping to share. As I am not english and totally don't get the pancake thing, what's a good topping to bring to share?

looneytune · 03/04/2008 13:38

Honey / Golden Syrup (yum) ???

looneytune · 03/04/2008 13:38
BoysAreLikeDogs · 03/04/2008 13:39

Bananas and vanilla ice-cream?

Tinned cherries in syrup/cherry pie filling

MaureenMLove · 03/04/2008 13:41

Oooh, Nutella and bananas, cream, strawberries, blueberries, anyberries! Sugar and lemon, Orange segments and Gran Marnier - maybe not!

crace · 03/04/2008 13:42

you guys are so weird

So if I just have him bring a tin of Lyle's Golden syrup that'[s ok?

crace · 03/04/2008 13:42

Gran Marnier for the mummy!

MaureenMLove · 03/04/2008 13:43

And that coming from someone who eats pumpkin pie! Whats all that about then? Yes, Golden syrup is fine!

crace · 03/04/2008 13:44

PS - Rose what in heck did you do to your foot!

crace · 03/04/2008 13:45

Have you not had the WONDER that is the pumpkin pie?!

MaureenMLove · 03/04/2008 13:46

She fell over a tree in the park yesterday! I think she was pissed not looking where she was going!

MaureenMLove · 03/04/2008 13:47

I think DH made one a couple of years ago, but usually, since its the week before our annual firework party, he makes a vat of pumpkin curry with it.
