eleanorsmum · 28/03/2008 08:40

hello - we're all over in the preggers room at the mo! but at least it'll stop us talking about here!

day off sort of today! only one afterschooly - and he's been off for last 2 days so am waiting for phone to ring to say if he's in school or not! taking dd to fun session at sports centre this morn. soft play, bouncy castle, trampolines all free play! (that's not free but freeplay! )

then got to ice friends bday cake this pm, spiderman mask so quite easy.

southernbelle77 · 28/03/2008 08:49

Morning!

No work for me today - hahahahah!!!!

Off to do the shopping and tidy the house though!

thebumcleaner · 28/03/2008 09:00

another quiet day before the chaos of next week.

Why do half term days seem so long. you seem time watching for school runs and groups etc, and the nursery run seems a pain and then when youdon't have to scoot around at high speed it is boring lol. Far too much day to fill.

So I suppose we will do baking (4th time this week), painting (again 4th time) and other things like that as it is again raining.

Next week however will be mad as more children here for the week. Arrgghh.

What can I do with them? Age ranges from 4 - 10. Running out of steam and ideas at the moment.

MaureenMLove · 28/03/2008 09:00

Morning. Done the school run, now waiting for 2 littlies. They'll be here about 9.30'ish. Bit stuck in this morning. I hadn't banked on having 2 littlies again and the double buggy is still in the loft! Its only til 1pm anyway, so I think we can manage in doors for 4 hours. I shall bring library toddler time to my front room instead. We'll do all the songs we usually do at the library and have a bit of a chill out morning I think. (both like a sleep in the morning, so that's a bonus - I'll be back!)

mumlove · 28/03/2008 09:03

Not working today aswell, I thought I had better have a lovely day with DD. She wants to go and see her best friend (6 hours older than DD) we were in hospital together and didn't know that we knew each other!

shoshe - yes it's doing that here too, what happened to yesterdays sunshine.

mumlove · 28/03/2008 09:05

Sorry how rude of me, Morning everyone .

MaureenMLove · 28/03/2008 09:05

Why don't you do a themed day? Something that amkes you think its hot maybe. You could have Spain for example. Start by making a panata with balloon and paper mache. Then learn some Spannish words. Do some colouring of Flamenco dancers. Learn a bit of salsa dancing, make Spannish food. (I'm on a role here!)

eleanorsmum · 28/03/2008 09:07

well we're not going anywhere! DD has chicken pox i think! blister type spots appearing before my eyes! she's upset as she was looking forwards to fun day out! so will have to phone round lots of people now! how long till she can go out?

MaureenMLove · 28/03/2008 09:08

Oh no! Not until the last spot has scabbed over. That might only be a couple of days of course, depends how quickly they all appear. DD got it on a Saturday and was back at school on Thursday.

mumlove · 28/03/2008 09:21

All this baby talk and my phone rings, mindee who left as mum going on maternity leave is comming to visit us on Monday and bringing his new brother to meet us (4 weeks old). Lots of cuddles with a tiny baby I can't wait.

crace · 28/03/2008 09:39

Awww bless, new babies. Even better that you can give back, no?

Having the day of it, and it's only 9.40! DD is a crabby witch little thing. Makes it difficult for mindees, but I am trying to ignore her. Help

Coffee time! Babies are both napping. Much singing and dancing has exhausted them! They both like a couple of hours and one is going at 1pm and one at 2pm. Money for old rope today!

crace · 28/03/2008 11:17

Shoshe! How is Tori doing?

crace · 28/03/2008 12:01

dmo · 28/03/2008 12:17

ooooooo sleep over you lucky thing mo
pouring down here today too so we just stayed in and painted this morning and we are off to mini musicals this afto (might take my ear plugs)

MaureenMLove · 28/03/2008 12:43

I don't actually take any notice of them these days! 12 year olds can get on with it themselves. I will nip out for pizza for them after all mindees have gone home, get a bottle of wine for me and then possibly slip into bed with the laptop!

southernbelle77 · 28/03/2008 13:06

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo mad.

All I'm going to say is that is to do with payment. Do not want to say more as who knows who reads what etc but right now I am more mad than I can imagine!

MaureenMLove · 28/03/2008 13:09

Oh dear. Its one of two things!

  1. Very late payment
  2. Not enough payment/despute on days used

am I close?

southernbelle77 · 28/03/2008 13:23

Pretty damn close on both counts!

ROSEgarden · 28/03/2008 13:24

you havent been paid for the bank hols and you plainly state that you charge for them????

southernbelle77 · 28/03/2008 13:35

Nothing to do with bank holidays!!

ROSEgarden · 28/03/2008 13:36
