New thread as this one is nearing the end ,, also going to post a separate thread for people either waiting for MR’s or starting the process of one (mandatory recommendation)

I was told 5 more weeks scan date 29th November lol 😆 😅 😜

Forms scanned 11/12, I called yesterday and they said it was with decision maker .. fingers crossed for you all the waiting is unreal 😭

Oh wow I think this is the latest date I’ve seen go to a DM. I’m 15/12 so this has given me a pin prick of hope to hear before Easter.
The wait is actually painful 😂

Hi just like to inform you all that you can actually request your claims or you mr to be marked as urgent there marked my claim as urgent at 17 weeks I got declined then rang today as did mr been 5 weeks there have now marked that as urgent to

Hi lovely I think you can at the 17w mark. Lady I spoke to this morning said if by next week it's not with a dm I can ask for it to be 'prioritised' 🤔😑

Just got through I should hear back today or Monday 😭😭 omg I’m so nervous!

@SL93 yes 15 weeks wait so far , the lady said we should know something anytime from now until beginning of April but also said it would probably be sooner rather than later ?
so stressful lol I had the forms sent in august but due to my job then and my sons needs and my 3 other boys I just never had the time to finish it so the form was sent very late 🤦🏻‍♀️

Erm my mr is only 5 weeks on Monday I rang today and there have marked it as urgent for me today hopefully not long for use all am hoping for some better news none of them have any idea what us parents go through and how we only have 2 hands and have to juggle everything there don’t live our day to day life either

That's fab! I don't know how the MRs work or if they're any different as I only have a new claim in atm. I'm hoping I don't have to do one but will if I get declined so its good to know ☺️
You get told a different story every time you ring its ridiculous there doesn't seem to be much consistency with them in anything 😭

It took me 6 attempts with my son who is adhd autism sensory processing disorder also part of his bowel is damaged due to interception bowel he had he also has hyper mobility and haemophilia were his blood don’t clots he’s on regular medications also had 4 operations and it still took me 6 attempts to get anywhere with dla and now my daughter is a fight with them to

@4beautifulkiddies @rjnicola I know 🤦‍♀️ I got told last week 20th April to go to dm, and now 2 weeks to hear a decision. I'm not sure if it depends what your application is for? Maybe it takes longer...I remain in the dark 🤔🤷‍♀️🤣 x

@Stookey I mean your ref number if it starts with CL it means clerical, I'm not 100% but I have seen a lot of people who have this don't have a NI number because they don't get child benefit. Otherwise this is your child's NI.
Im 4/12 and he said once it goes to dm it should be sorted out pretty quickly. Abd to give thrm 2 more weeks.
I do take what they say either a pinch of salt because things can change so fast, hence all the confusion for us all x

@Amytate hi I'm in same boat did they tell you how long a urgent claim takes I've had 3 different timescales although I was only declined last week the reason was pathetic and I'd actually provided the info/evidence it was declined on the team leader rang me and apologised as he could clearly see the info was there at the time of declining I really think they just don't check half evidence sent.

rang today with dm since yesterday fingers crossed scan date 24th nov 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Just said no decision has been made yet . Didn't say If was with DM or holding pile or anything . Wished I asked now . Just added that my son has been accepted for ehcp plan.

Scan date 15/12 phoned today and they said it has been assigned to decision maker but 03/05 is the date I've been given for decision

Same scan date as me. I heard 2-3 weeks with DM but unsure how true that is. Surely it can’t be May if they’ve sent letters saying 15 weeks. I think the person you spoke to must be getting mixed up…well hopefully they were! Good Luck!
