New thread as this one is nearing the end ,, also going to post a separate thread for people either waiting for MR’s or starting the process of one (mandatory recommendation)

Apparently I've used my phone 2 more hours than the week before, all for constant checking on here and my bank pending payments 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣🤣🤣. I think I need a holiday my mind is frazzled 🤣🤣🤣 x

@xxAmy I know I’m faffing now cause when I rang this morning the lady said there’s no decision yet😩and put on there to send me a text, I got through literally at an hour so hopefully not much longer for you! X

Hi, been reading these threads for a while, my child was awarded Tuesday, I updated tax credits and they've changed payments to reflect the award already, but they have only backdated what looks like 2 weeks instead of the 23 weeks she has been eligible for DLA... does this sound about right or should they be backdating from the start of the award? Thought I'd ask before I sit on the phone for another hour

I'm currently on hold scan date 23/11 I wasn't going to call until Monday but I gave in just can't resist the sound of the hold music😂x

I’m only 14 weeks plus one day but I caved and called again - I need to update my bank details anyway tho so that’s my excuse !! Doubt I’ll hear much but will report what they say!!

Hi All new here, I sent my sons DLA form special delivery so I know it was signed for on 06/03, would this be my scan date or will it be a couple if weeks after etc?

Hi usually you get a letter saying something along the lines of Thankyou for your claim for dla we received it on for example the 22/01 and the date they give you in the letter of when they received it is your scan date hope this helps x

Just been told 16-18 weeks on the phone he said ‘give us 2 more weeks’!!

Guys I’m literally shaking! My boy was awarded high rate care and low rate mobility, back dated, and for 2 years. Which I am happy with, over the moon with.
no text message and I called yesterday too!

Congratulations I’m so happy for you, can I ask when u went to DM and what ur scan date was I went to DM Tuesday they told me yesterday when I rang my scan date is 22/11 I am dying to ring again but don’t no if I will have an answer so soon may leave it till tomorrow and phone bang on 9😂? X

Hi, that definitely doesn’t look right. Your tax credits should be adjusted from the moment you started receiving DLA. I would definitely call them, it has to be a mistake.

I phoned Tuesday told me it was in a holding pile I've just got off the phone to them as I needed them to confirm rates which they confirmed it was HRC lM and that my son was awarded Tuesday so I wasn't told the right information when I called on Tuesday x

My scan date is 30/10 x

Oh Really thanks for that I caved couldn’t wait till tomorrows currently on hold now 😂😂🤣 I hope they didn’t tell me wrong information when I rang on Wednesday I feel like they always tell you so many different things x
