Thanks Mo, figured it was as easy as that. I think I over complicate things

EM- I actually phoned around and found a few people - both my f/ters are going to separate covers. One I am not expecting back to be honest - but I would need a variation so I am cool with that. The other are dream parents and I want them back! They are meeting someone this week. The other parents are burying their head but I found them 2 people to phone and they've not done a thing. So I can't do more than I have done.. I keep reminding them it's coming but it's not my problem, I've done all but sign the contract

So, do what you can but stop feeling guilty!! When are you stopping?

Hey, don't forget to give me that choc nest recipe!

southernbelle77 · 12/03/2008 13:39

My house of gorgeous freshly baked bread

DD at preschool (was feeling much better) and both mindees asleep so it's lovely and peaceful and I was able to eat my lunch in peace!

I've never dyed eggs. Might be something to try but not sure my 22 month old mindees will do anything other than try and break them

ok crace - choc nests were made by melting big bar of cooking choc in mircowave, mixing in two large tablespoons of golden syrup and about 6 scrunched up shredded wheat. spooned into acses and eggs added. am going to try just choc later this week and also mars bars )if they last that long!)
will stop beating ymself up over replacement care
but also cos you're here - would you just call the epu if you couldn't get dr's appoinment till fri and only then as an emergency? got niggly pains around c-section scar. not getting any better as the week goes on, if i go to epu i'll have to mess around parents etc for pickups! arg! feel ok, it's just bothering me a little.

crace · 12/03/2008 13:51

Yup! Or even A&E hon - don't hang around. I have had this several times myself (2 c/s, this is 3rd) and I have had burning pains around scar. It's very normal, and old scar tissue will be pulling away as my consultant described it to me. So, some uncomfortableness will be normal but they said any bleeding or really bad pain come straight in.

But also there isn't a lot they can do about seeing if scar is about to rupture. I think they can do a scan but my midwife told me there isn't much that can be done. Now -whether that's true or not!

How many weeks? Mine have been coming and going periodically but I tell you if I thought something was wrong I would be in A&E like a shot.

Can anyone help me with my very serious problem here www.mumsnet.com/Talk/2724/494949?rnd=1205352672017

southernbelle77 · 12/03/2008 20:30

Well we had yet another power cut! Was off to 2 hours again. Wouldn't have been so bad but dd hates the dark and it went off as she was going to bed! She wasn't too bad thankfully and went off pretty quickly!

I had to call a friend as dh has been away and isn't back yet and I hated the complete silence!
