LOL Ellie! Now there's an idea, the PG board! You might find a couple of ladies with the same 'condition' as yours in there!

hi everyone - busy busy today

i'm doing my first aid course {part one} tomorrow and the scond part next saturday - i really hate doing training as my brain doesn't seem to work in that way anymore!!!
not that i was ever academic and really quite norty at school

i think we should do it more often than every 3 years or at least some kind of refresher session once a year - just to do the resuss and choking training.

eleanorsmum · 07/03/2008 14:44

Rose! A$$!! I really feel for you love, hang in there

Em - Um, it's usually 8 weeks onwards but I wouldn't stress over it, you are having your bloods done and a scan booked (which in my surgery don't happen unless you see m/w) all she does is give you your green book and take some details. They have been very hands off with me this time, in fact it's been 6 weeks when I see the m/w next week. It's all tickyboo tho so that's fine with me! Plus I have to drag mindees all over kingdom come so it does me a favour. Go over and ask on the PG board though!

Hey ML! and Mo!

I am overdoing it methinks, had a lot of painful braxton hicks contrax earlier today. Taking it easy this pm but not easy to do with active toddler and a wee one! I am 28 weeks now, I think this is going to be tricky the bigger I get.

Playgroup was mysteriously cancelled on Monday and now Softplay was also cancelled today - I have one seriously miffed toddler

mumlove · 07/03/2008 14:59

Ok I have washed the kitchen floor, will hoover after a coffee, any one else for 1?
I have sat down and it's soooo peaceful I could go to sleep.

looneytune · 07/03/2008 19:28

crace - cheers, will just stick with what I'm doing then Take it easy, braxton hicks already!! Gosh, never had these with ds so not sure what they feel like. I've a couple of times been stressed and rushing around and had tightening but don't think it was braxton hicks. Anyway, try and rest when you can!

rose - and Sorry about your bad day, that's awful!! I also think you should go through insurance, you pay all this time so can't help it when 2 things happen close together! Just phone them and as Mo said, they are normal people And maybe say you can take pics unless they send someone out?

EllieM - hope you managed to rest! And yes, feel free to email me! As for midwife, wouldn't worry too much as they'd make sure you went if you really had to. Will you have blood tests around 8 weeks? If so, that's the main thing, midwife doesn't do much more than that!

Mo - update???

Well I've had a right old afternoon. Remind me to say NO when someone asks me to help out adhoc with their kids!!! I've purposely tried to keep the workload lower i.e. 2 daytime kids and 2 after school each day and yet I still found myself agreeing to help my friend out today so had 5 under 5. I'm bloomin exhausted and got bloomin first aid course next 2 Saturdays and need to be out of the door at 8.30am!! (sorry, feeling sorry for myself as tired, stressed and now got bloomin swollen throbbing ankles!!!)

Have a lovely weekend everyone

ROSEgarden · 07/03/2008 20:55

tried tot ake pics earlier but too dark, not showing up as most under units will try again in morn, too tired

Ins ringing back monday, i have to get quotes to sort it out over weekend!oh yeah its as easy as that!

Cant use dishwasher(no biggy) washing machine(veyr biggy!) and sink(even bigger biggy), so just been out for pizza hut(to dd and dp's delight!)

Dp thinks we should think about a whole new kitchen..how would we work that with insurance already(hopefully) paying for the damamge thats been done?
