I am an Ofsted registered nanny with paediatric first aid to nursery standard, public liability insurance and training courses in all aspects of childcare including special needs. I also have an ICP qualification but most important of all I have 30 years experience; Which includes working with babies and children aged from newborn up to 13 years. I have experience of working with and supporting the parents of premature babies and I have worked with several sets of twins. many of my jobs have been long term and I still have good relationships with the long term families I have worked forSmile

I have recently been looking after an 8 month old girl and a 4 year old boy, a job that has come to an end because of a change in the employers circumstances.

I do not drive but have never found this a problem and the children in my care get to do lots of fun things and we have outings on the buses to places that are not in walking distance. I believe childhood should be a happy fulfilling time and try to provide the best possible care for my young charges. I encourage imaginationDragon and storytelling. I also seek out local playgroups and activities. Picnics and trips to the park are also on the agenda Smile yet I also know how important quiet time is as well.

I have a gentle approach to babies and preschoolers while at the same time encouraging thought for others and good manners.I also get on well with older children.

I am reliable and prepared to be flexible but ideally would like to work upwards of 20 hours. I don't mind long days and am open to both full and part time, weekends and overnights

I would love to find a new job in the Farnham, Guildford or Alton areas of Surrey/Hants and I can provide a full work history and excellent references to future employers

Hi!

We are looking for a French speaking nanny for our son who will be a year old. The position would start in January and be for 3 days a week (Mon-Wed) based in Hanwell. It could be live in or live out (or part live in/part live out). We currently live in Hammersmith but we should have moved to Hanwell by Jan - if not then it might initially be based in Hammersmith.

If this is of interest please let me know!

Thanks!

Charlotte

Hello- I am a newly registered child-minder in Barnet. Barnet Local authority have will be placing my details on their website. At the moment I am picking up kids from the School and dropping their home as their parents prefer a Nanny-it seems the nannies do not appear to drive. I am registered on a website. It seems there are more jobs as nannies than childminders. I am just wondering when I will get my first child to look after at my home. Its 7 days since I registered. Any thoughts or ideas, would be grateful

Does anyone know of a good website where I can enquiry about babysitting/childminders or nannies?

I've noticed a couple but they are membership based and don't want to have to pay for such a service.

Thanks in advance.

Hello!
I'm a classical pianist from Italy. I already studied one year in a London Conservatoire and I'm starting a Postgraduate Course in September this year at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. I'm looking for a family in Greenwich/Deptford area who would like to host me in exchange of piano and music lessons and if needed help with the children. I recently finished a Master Degree in Classical Piano in Italy magna cum laude. I'm 24 and I've been teaching piano for the past 5 years. Apart from music I like art in general, nature, literature, films, architecture, Maths...
Pm if interested and I can send you more information.

How do I find a baby sitter/nanny without paying a fortune on every website to find one? I’ve just moved to Marchwiel in Wrexham and ideally they would look after my 4month old at my house while I decorate. I’ve just moved in and I’ve got lots to do but i don’t want to paint while he’s in the same room.

Ideally the nanny would just come over for half a day (morning till early afternoon) for a few days and then if they are good I’d consider using them more permanent especially for when I go back to work.

So far I’ve gone on some websites which ask for £25 to sign up to apply for a baby sitter but you aren’t guaranteed anything, I’ve searched Facebook and posted on local groups but so far no luck.

Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you x
