mumlove - according to my advice there is no exclusion for slapped cheek - however it can occasionally affect unborn babies before 20 weeks - so the mindee may not be very welcome at toddlers if there are any pregnant mum's there - i think i'd say yes but stay home

Er ROSE, something vexes thee? Has someone upset you? Show me the thread.

ML, I thought it was NO exclusion either. I remember a Brownie having it the day before camp and we checked with NHS Direct etc and they said it was fine.

Just popped in before bed.....ds had slapped cheek and I had to keep him off nursery (school's rules). Being pregnant myself, I know how this can be a problem for unborn child so IF you take them, don't go to toddlers as you just don't know who you might be putting at risk.

Thankyou all for your advice and after a little bit of reading on websites I have decided not to take her tomorrow as we are going to toddler group and will then speak to her mum about wed (she usually goes to preschool) but would be willing to keep her at mine as we don't go to any groups that day.
