Ive got 5 boys today aged 1-6....arghhhhh they love being together so will have acres of fun Im sure. Probably will go to the park but won't venture any further then that...looks a tad chilly here at the moment though Brrrr

Have a lovely day all

Jenna

MaureenMLove · 18/02/2008 07:58

Hi Jenna. She's got the playdough already! Its because its half term, I always think I should be doing special/different things! She's 18mths, she couldn't care less really, could she!

mumlove · 18/02/2008 08:05

Morning all.

Happy Birthday Shoshe, have a lovely day.

Looks like the sun is on it's way out . I am off to visit my niece this morning as it's her birthday to, so cake and more cake today.

KaySamuels · 18/02/2008 08:13

Morning everyone!

Happy Birthday Shoshe!

Our half term is over now and DS is back to nursery this aft! Am waiting for baby mindee again. I am not going to stop in all morning though, made that mistake last week.

Over the weekend my friend approached me about me possibly minding for her hen her ML is up. I can mind two under fives. I currently have one full time (who is seriously messing me about ATM), and one part timer (four half days a week).

So to have friends baby full time would have to give a current mindee notice or get a variation. Do you think Ofsted would give me a variation? It would mean I was over my numbers for four half days a week. Has anyone else done anything similar??

southernbelle77 · 18/02/2008 08:19

Morning all!

Surely it's not morning already?? I'm exhausted and the day has barely begun!

DD and mindee currently playing really nicely with the animal set which is great! Thinking we might pop to the library later for a quick visit! Something to do and getting out the house without having to get too cold!!

Happy birthday Shoshe

southernbelle77 · 18/02/2008 08:20

I have a variation for 2 full days a week and might possibly need one for 2 1/2 days a week so it is worth asking Kay! If you don't ask, you don't get

MaureenMLove · 18/02/2008 08:20

You can have 3 under 5, so why don't you just ask for a variation? Although... you've got DS too, haven't you. When is he 5?

OP posts:
KaySamuels · 18/02/2008 08:24

Yes DS is three hence me only having 2 mindees under five. He doesn't start school full time until Sept 2009, but he does go to preschool for half the day.

May well ask for variation then. Will be two or three months yet, should I ask them now o wait a while are they usually quick in replying or not??

shoshe · 18/02/2008 08:26

I thank You all >

ML we are off to Farmer Palmers today if you want to join us, we are having lunch there.

I got lots of nice goodies from my mindees, NOTHING NOT EVEN A CARD FROM DH, so he better be doing something later!

southernbelle77 · 18/02/2008 08:28

I got mine within a week as I gave them a date I needed it by!

KaySamuels · 18/02/2008 08:36

Oh that's fast I am impressed!

Will leave it for now then, but think I would rather get a variation than lose a current mindee. If it came to it though I have a parent who is messing me around and causing me stress, only reason still minding for them is the mindee who is adorable!!

MamaG · 18/02/2008 08:43

Happy birthday Shoshe!

MaureenMLove · 18/02/2008 08:47

This half term lark is all very well, but I've just realised I'm not gonna get my fix of the tasty bloke at the bus stop outside the school! Well, actually when I say bloke, he's barely started shaving! He is possibly 21 at the very oldest! He is scrummy!

MamaG · 18/02/2008 08:49

Ah Mo you truly are a woman after my own heart

Half term last week here - DD NOT happy to be going back today

mumlove · 18/02/2008 08:52

Well out of my 4 mindees that I have on a Monday none of them are comming . 2 are term time only, 1 has gone away at the last minute, and the last 1's mum just phoned to say she's ill.
So will enjoy niece's birthday even more without checking constantly what mindees are playing with. Then meeting with friend after lunch.

Shoshe - If I had known earlier that you where going there I would have come to. I am now only working wed & thurs this week and hoping to get to Honeybrook farm.

ROSEgarden · 18/02/2008 08:54

Kbear · 18/02/2008 09:50

MAUREEN - I AM SHOCKED AT YOUR BUS STOP BEHAVIOUR. (Who am I kidding? - not shocked in the least - it is Mo we're talking about here !!). I don't know, from one end of the spectrum to the other!! TNC -eeeek.

Happy Birthday Shoshe! I'll slap Mo round the head for the bus pass joke for you shall I?

MaureenMLove · 18/02/2008 10:12

Oh Kbear, he is truely gorgeous though! I haven't shared this with anyone in rl, iykwim! Sugar daddy, toy boy, I'm not fussed! Are you working today?

OP posts:
Kbear · 18/02/2008 10:23

Nope - tralaaaaaa - DH doing the hosp run so I couldn't go. Shame.

So, spill about bus stop boy.... surprised someone else hasn't batted her lashes at him...

MaureenMLove · 18/02/2008 10:32

Oh, is she coming home today or just doing visiting with the old man?

This bloke/boy is just really 'nice' looking. Don't know why, he's just cute! I kinda wanna show him around iykwim! OMG! I'm working fgs, I shouldn't be having this conversation! Oh well, she is asleep for about another 1/2 hour! I'd phone you, but DD is organising her social life!
