Morning all. What's 'appenin'?

I'm going to to getmy passport piccies done today. Bit foggy and icy though, so I may have to wear a hat to school to stop to prevent me looking like someone off the Hair Bear Bunch!

KatyMac · 13/02/2008 08:45

Morning - Reflexology then dentist

How exciting

crace · 13/02/2008 08:49

Yum, just ate our plum gratin which was lovely (think sweet yorkies with plums and almonds) and all the littlies ate, apart from my own fussy daughter. Activity this am and toddlers this pm.

Sore scar stopped after I went to bed, and gone this am - definitely think it's an activity caused thing but how am I supposed to take it easy?! Oh well, hopefully it's a normal thing and will try to take it "easy" as much as 2 full time mindees and my own that require lots of picking up!

MamaG · 13/02/2008 08:52

Why are you getting your passport pics done Mo, are you going away?

eleanorsmum · 13/02/2008 08:56

dh just rang - someone ran in the back of him on the way to work! arg - what does he want me to do about it from here with three in tow! wants me to call accident repair centre to organise quote - i do wonder if he thinks i'm working at all!

MaureenMLove · 13/02/2008 08:56

Tis all booked! 4th May - 11th May! Kbear goes on the 14th That'll be 4 weeks I won't see her for, won't have time to catch up between the two either. I've never been apart from her for that long!

MamaG · 13/02/2008 08:57

WOW how exciting! ummmmm I know its early but there ARE three days between 11th and 14th May y'know Mo...!

MaureenMLove · 13/02/2008 08:59

WWYD, if someone you knew shouted at their dd for not walking properly and said, 'stop walking like a spastic!'

MamaG · 13/02/2008 09:01

I prob wouldnt say anything if I'm honest, but I'd bes hocked and angry

crace · 13/02/2008 09:08

Mo, say "stop acting like a spastic!"

crace · 13/02/2008 09:09

Em - sounds like a DH task to me. He is always asking me to do things, despite me saying NO I AM WORKING. I don't think they get it, no.

MaureenMLove · 13/02/2008 09:11

Work days though. Kbear will be working all 3 as will I. Although obviously, i don't do much, because I'm only a cm and I'll be in here most of the time! But I also do Rainbows on Monday nights & Guides on Tuesday nights, so no evening time either!

Sad thing is, I fear this child has learning difficulties which the parent isn't seeing. Ho hum, none of my business.

Morning! Just waiting for mindees to arrive! then friend and her 2 are coming over! House full today then!

Make valentines card already with dd this morning! She wanted to make them for her 2 best friends - one we are seeing today and the other we need to send today!

Going to make rice crispy cakes in heart shapes (that's the idea anyway!) and maybe put love hearts on top too! All to take home of course, not to eat here so parents can decide if healthy enough

Mo - I probably wouldn't have said anything although would have been disgusted. It is hard as not easy to get involved in others peoples business.

dmo · 13/02/2008 09:48

shoshe · 13/02/2008 10:48

Julezboo · 13/02/2008 13:16

Afternoon all

Already been to hospital for DS's appt this morning, mindee and boys have had dinner now sleeping (well mindee is) babyds is laying next to me.

Rowed wth DP this morning too (not in front of mindee though or kids was before they got up! Men are so insensitive sometimes!!)

MaureenMLove · 13/02/2008 13:22

That has to be one of the most difficult parts of minding! I often what/need to shout at DD (she is 12 afterall! ) and I have to grit my teeth and shout at her through them! She gets away with so much more during the week, because by the time I've finished work and remembered I needed 'a word', the moment has gone!

Today is a good DD day though. I've just had another letter from school, congratulating her on her hard work and progress in French!

BoysAreLikeDogs · 13/02/2008 13:47

Hi all

Lots of lovely Valentine activites going on, I see.

We've made cards with 'red velvet roses' ie scrunched up tissue paper, stuck on to them.

The baby enjoyed brushing a tissue paper square across his cheek, awww

They are all asleep now, ta-da

catch ya later

MamaG · 13/02/2008 13:50

Who was that dozy bint moaning about us at the weekend? She's still getting to me. I keep reading her posts. In one she said, 'some of them are in there all day, you know who you are!' That'll be me then! Cheeky cow!

FYI - I haven't got any mindees until 3.30pm!
