Those of us that are celebrating our weight loss (62lbs) wouldn't really go for that

What sort of sleeves?

there we go, NOT ten quid a pop!

MaureenMLove · 03/02/2008 18:00

Tabbards!!!!

I think the colour is lovely and I think that in your particular CM setting, they would be perfect. Agree with DMO about a cm being home from home, but there's lots of you, so I think it would look fab!

VanillaPumpkin · 03/02/2008 18:04

Tabards!!!! Tabards!!! Tabards!!!!

KatyMac · 03/02/2008 18:10

Calm down

It's not that important

I have so little in my life Katy and its a blessed relief to help someone make a decision on summit other than, what we're eating for tea!

VanillaPumpkin · 03/02/2008 18:27

Ditto Maureen!! .
It is very exciting to make a decision that is not whether we have pork or chicken for tea!
Anyway TABARDS!!!!!
And it is important because you will regret poloshirts, so there . imho.

KatyMac · 03/02/2008 18:34

Purple ones

OP posts:
MaureenMLove · 03/02/2008 18:35

Was that a question or a statement?

VanillaPumpkin · 03/02/2008 18:36

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeell...... I still prefer the ones with ladybirds on but if you insist

.

MaureenMLove · 03/02/2008 18:37

I think probably plain purple with a logo will set you apart from a nurse in a childrens ward. Bit more classy, I think.

KatyMac · 03/02/2008 18:38

It's a statement

But I'd like them cheaper

But can't find purple ones

OP posts:
MaureenMLove · 03/02/2008 18:42

What's the cheapest you've found so far?

KatyMac · 03/02/2008 18:45

In that colour only those

OP posts:
nannynick · 03/02/2008 18:58

Do they have to be purple? Looking through some websites, purple does not seem a popular colour for tabards.

nannynick · 03/02/2008 19:03

How many do you want... 10 or more? If so, Arivatex may be able to make them for you, to your chosen colour. Could be worth asking for a quote.

KatyMac · 03/02/2008 19:10

Nick - they are very polyester

OP posts:
nannynick · 03/02/2008 19:21

No polyester at all? You aren't asking much are you

If it's got to be purple... have you considered an Apron Such as this which is available in Purple (link is to a uk workwear distributor, so items can be obtained by most embroidery/printing companies)

nannynick · 03/02/2008 19:22

Still 65% poly though.

KatyMac · 03/02/2008 19:23

But you haven't considered the bum issue have you?

OP posts:
vInTaGeVioLeT · 03/02/2008 20:29

couldn't you just insist that they wear their trousers high waisted in the style of simon cowell?

KatyMac · 03/02/2008 20:35

Above the bum would do....or granny knickers

OP posts:
KatyMac · 08/02/2008 19:51

Ordered them.........

OP posts:
frannikin · 09/02/2008 00:28

Did you decide on purple tabards in the end then?

KatyMac · 09/02/2008 09:43

Yes - but they didn't have any in (well only 1)

So they are sending me one in each size in whatever colour to get sizing then I'll send them back & order the right number of each size
