morning! just dashed to pick dd up from nanny's, she just had to stay last night! her words not mine! bless. have got two lo today but dd is a bit coldy so lets hope she's not too needy! dose of calpol on the up i think! lo are tough as i'm not used to it all yet but i'm getting there. off to toddlers this pm so at least i know we'll be out of the house for a while!

have a good day everyone.

MaureenMLove · 29/01/2008 08:10

They didn't want to speak to you, did they! I like the post that said, 'are you primary teachers?' and the reply came back, 'I think, they are the childminders!'

I don't want to be either teacher, cm or parent this morning, its too difficult. DD has given me the right hump and I will be making new rules today. Difficult mindee, still not arrived. Should have been here at 7.45. Don't care that much. He will have had his breakfast and she does still pay me from 7.45, I'm just not very good with tardiness!

crace · 29/01/2008 08:10

Noooo idea what I missed yesterday, will have to go back and read through. Yesterday I had my mindees and then taxes. (Which are now DONE woohoo) No time for anything else.

Today is an easy day, made even easier with my 7am mindee coming closer to 9 now. I could insert a small moan that I had to get up anyway to get DH and Ds lunch made and then everyone's breakfast! I feel like an unpaid slave, just because I don't go out to work! Anyway, moan over. I do love them all dearly, really. No.. really

Good morning girls!

southernbelle77 · 29/01/2008 08:18

Good morning!! bloody very tired this morning for some reason. Will have to grin and bear it I suppose and get on as usual! Getting mindee after dropping dd at preschool and then going to drop in so will take it easy there
Not sure what we are doing this afternoon. Might be going to one of dd's preschools friends houses for lunch but will have to see if its still on. No other plans. Thought we would see what the weather is like and maybe venture out but the weather is not looking that cooporative this morning!

ROSEgarden · 29/01/2008 09:41

where is this new staff room shosh???its not a new narnia is it?? and they better not have been mean to you???

KaySamuels · 29/01/2008 09:43

Morning everyone!
I was shattered this morning too, ds kept me awake last night, then had early morning mindee here. He used to come with older siblingbut comes alone now, so not financially as tempting to get out of bed, but don't have it in my to give my notice, today reinforced it when he said he loved coming to my hose. Stopped at garage on way home for chocolate and lucozade to wake myself up!

Baby mindee should have been here at 7.30, still not here still no text or call. Happened yesterday too, I text mum at 9.30 and she said e wasn't coming and had forgot to tell me, then asked if I'd have him in afternoon, then changed her mind again! He is a pleassure to have, I just like to know what I'm doing!!

ROSEgarden · 29/01/2008 09:47

HI KAy, thats sounds like one of mine!..always chopping and changing and I always have to text them, they dont give me second thought!, but mindee is a darling..i also hit the papershop this morn for choc..painting again today so i ned some energy, esp as dd was'scared' last night and i had to spend the night in 1/4 of her single bed as she spread out!..neck/head ache and back ache..but ill soldier on >>..and i have no mindees till 3pm so i do have a fairly easy day work wise

MaureenMLove · 29/01/2008 09:51

The other staff room is in education - secondary, Rose. Shosh tried to infultrate them, but they weren't biting. No-one talked to her!

KaySamuels · 29/01/2008 10:01

Yes I suppose I will have to text her and find out if he is coming! {sigh}

I have my newish mindee here this afty, hope he is ok, is having good and bad days at the mo, may take him out somewhere if he is a bit sad!

vInTaGeVioLeT · 29/01/2008 14:14

ds also at pre-school and other mindee fast asleep so just loitering here till school pick up time . . . . {searches for mamaG's sweeties}

crace · 29/01/2008 14:15

Good for you Rose, we are doing the same here - can only do them during weekends which is slightly depressing as I want to chill on weekend. Oh well needs must.

What a day, just snatching myself a minute while mindees and dd are distracted. I am so tired, I keep waking up at night with numb hands. The joys of pregnancy but not sure why this is happening. I see the m/w on Thurs so will ask her but it's annoying and I am waking up a lot because of it. Old age too huh? I turn 30 on the 14th of March!

ROSEgarden · 29/01/2008 14:17

i got that Crace!..in my legs too..i would get up through night to go fo a pee and fall like a sack of spuds to the floor!..nothing to worry about i dont think, just be careful if it goes to your legs that you dont fall on anything?

crace · 29/01/2008 14:19

Are you pregnant too Rose? It didn't happen in my other two this much, it's a lot through the night. So annoying!

ROSEgarden · 29/01/2008 14:20

NNNNNNNNooooooooo!..when i was PG with dd

ROSEgarden · 29/01/2008 14:21

what do you have at minute then?, cos i had girl(obv, being a dd), maybe is a girl baby thing?

crace · 29/01/2008 14:26

I have an 11 year old boy and a 2 yo girl so it could be either. Plus the fact that I am just FAT, didn't lose weight from dd well and have gained over a stone already (22 weeks) so probably my own weight doing it. Can we please fast forward 18 weeks?!

shoshe · 29/01/2008 15:22

WHO HAS LEFT ALL THESE SWEETIE WRAPPERS IN MY TRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OP posts:
looneytune · 29/01/2008 15:45

Just eaten my lunch and thought I'd pop in for a cuppa whilst I only have ds here.

Had a catch up about the staff room - funny!

crace - sounds like Carpel Tunnel Syndrome??? I'm sure this can be linked to pregnancy?

Kay - VERY annoying!!!

Off to get a mars bar to go with my cuppa, think I've earnt it after my day so far!!! I'm in AGONY with my SPD ( phoned surgery today and bloomin midwife never referred me to physio so I've been suffering all this time and she'd FORGOTTEN ). I really shouldn't have gone to the park with a 9 month old, 13 month old, 2 year old and 4 year old. The 9 month old was on their 2nd settling in session so I was carrying her, stopping the 13 month going too far with her fast crawling etc whilst the other 2 ran around like mad. But....the sun was shining and we wanted to make the most of it!! At least I'm chilling now (with ds nagging) - mindee I pick up from pre-school is off today, ds was off school too so didn't need to collect him, 2 sisters in bed and settling in mindee now gone. And somehow I need to find the strength to go out tonight to buy some salad stuff, bananas and party food (sisters leave tomorrow). Not sure I'll be able to walk by then

WHERE'S THAT MARS BAR..........

ROSEgarden · 29/01/2008 15:50

what a larf...me, dd nad mindees(5yr and `0yr) have just been (much to my dps disproval when he finds out) doing handsstands on the sofa(so we had a soft landing you see!)..first head stand ive done in years, didnt realise i could shift the lard upside down like that!!!...ive old them if they do it when im not there ill be "what are you doing!..get down"!!..dont know wheter their coming or going

sticking and glueing now, im off to try nad scrub the gloss of my hands/face/neck/specs

MaureenMLove · 29/01/2008 16:12

farking Some little sht at the school gate threw a freaking apple at my mindee, right in her face! She's got a farking swollen eye and she screamed the place down. Nearly as loudly as me screaming at the kid! I'm so Mother was miles away of course and couldn't give a shit what her kid was doing. I almost dragged her over and expected an explanation from both of them. A teacher stood by and just watched! Bll^cking, sh*ting rotten kid!

And why can't I find my bloody accident book when I need it. Why isn't it in the same place as everything else? When was the last time I had it? Oh god, what to do! I need to fill in a form before 5pm! Where the f*ck is it!!!!! I haven't finished with the school run yet and I'm trying to have a row with dd too!

H E L P!!!!!!!!!!!

MamaG · 29/01/2008 16:14
