How and Poor kid - I hate parents who ignore like that!! In fact, we actually have a local childminder whose like that with her children and they are the sort that NEED watching all the time!!! Sorry you can't find your book. Just a note for now with a circle for a face and mark the area should do shouldn't it?

Just put it in your diary for today and get Parent to witness it.

Tell DD to wind her neck in, go to her room and you will deal with what ever her 'Major Crisis' is WHEN hurt Mindee is sorted.

If it happened within the school gates report it to the school in the morning.

I've taken a picture and I'm going to print a quick note on the PC for mum to sign. I don't see them again til next Monday. The boy and his brother and sister run riot round the school, always have. The mum is one of those pathetic ones that say things like, 'I asked you not to do that again darling' I screamed, 'Oi you! Get over ere, NOW!!!!' Its the first time, I've ever seen him look a bit sheepish!

Afternoon all. Sorry to you all that have suffered with one thing or another today.
Can't believe that kid in the playground what a little shit brat.
Nothing happened here today! Went to drop in and mindee is getting more confident now so not attached to my leg constantly!
DD was mortified earlier as her friend wasn't at preschool so couldn't go there for lunch . Bought her a special gingerbread man for afterwards to make it a bit better!!
Went out for a walk this afternoon to clear my head and give them some fresh air. Feeling like my sinus' are extremely blocked and it's very painful.
Oh, got reference from mindee's mum today and it was really nice! So sent that on to parents who had interview with last week! Not sure if they were waiting for that or just don't want me ( ) but still not heard from them. Asked for feedback anyway in latest email so hopefully hear something soon.

OK, peace restored. Bloody mindee hasn't even got a puffy eye anymore! Her mother is going to wonder what all the fuss was about!

DD, is going to get what for in about 10 mins when mindee has gone. amazingly after school mindee had gone already! His mum had the day off today! If only I could have a nice relaxing evening to get over it all, but nooooo. DD and me need feeding within the hour, because I've just agreed to help at Guides tonight! Still no kids til after school tomorrow and with a bit of luck DH is going to the office all day!

DD has spent 6.5 days at school so far this year so on Sunday when she had a sore ear I was sympathetic & fed up

She was off school yesterday & sent home today at lunchtime

I took her to the GP & she is fine, no infection, no swollen glands, no reddness (or even pinkness) in her ear

I am SO cross - she is missing guides tonite & going to bed early

I am furious

vInTaGeVioLeT · 29/01/2008 18:35

oh dear katy
how old is she?

it's obviously toooo nice at home

KatyMac · 29/01/2008 18:36

10 - & she might not make 11

MaureenMLove · 29/01/2008 21:23

Katy, I had exactly the same with DD a few years back. It got so bad with me going up and down to collect her from school, I threatened her one day, that she was NOT to ask the school to phone me, unless her eyes were bleeding! When I went up at home time to get her, her teacher pulled me aside and said, 'dd hasn't been the full ticket at all today, but she wouldn't let me phone you!'
