Hi anyone who is also sad like me!

been on EYFS info meeting today, everyone was scared about paperwork etc..dont see the prob?, its just another course, we are all already doing it all, just need to tweak it a little!
Lots of people winging about the paperwork, well yes there is lots, but not with this course so shut up and give my ears a break!

anyway, i start at end of month and the best aprt yet, just for doing it(and its a funded course) i also get £200!!!!! to buy 'supplies' with, has to be for cming, but can be anything like new pcarpet for playroom etc!(mine will be double buggy, art stuff and garden toys!)..so very pleased about it, ate some lovely danish pastries and drank posh tea

KaySamuels · 13/01/2008 10:07

Hi everyone.

My friend came round last night with chocolate buns and two got left over so guess what I've just had for breakfast!

I had two mindees leave on Friday, but very luckily have one new part timer starting Tuesday, still need a little more coming in though really!

So what's this about £200??! Please explain - I could really do with it!

crace · 13/01/2008 10:38

Yummy Kay - no the £200 is possibly (likely?) going to be the registration fees for Ofsted and EYFS Not a good thing

looneytune · 13/01/2008 11:17

that marney is back again and doubt she'll stop!

MaureenMLove · 13/01/2008 11:21

OH NO, IS SHE? IS SHE TYPING LIKE THIS AS WELL, COZ IF SHE IS I'M NOT GOING TO READ IT, COZ ITS TOO HARD ON THE EYES!

looneytune · 13/01/2008 11:25
  • I've just posted back to her!!
MaureenMLove · 13/01/2008 11:35

Ooh! Nice one. D'ya think it might be worth linking that petition to a new thread? Lots of people will have stopped looking at that thread because she's on it!

looneytune · 13/01/2008 11:42

I agree. Must dash as off to B & Q and hubby waiting. Bye for now x

shoshe · 13/01/2008 11:47

MaureenMLove · 13/01/2008 13:35

I would, but I've looked on that site and Ican't actually find where to sign! I'll look for whoever it was who suggested it was later and 'make it so, number one!', as Captain Pickard says on Star Trek!

dmo · 13/01/2008 14:03

On that really long thread that Marney has taken over, you know the one, the OFSTED one that LT started, there is a link to proposed increase in your registration fees to Ofsted to around £200 per year. Have a read. And if you can find the petition to register your objections, start a new thread showing everyone! Me and Shosh can't find it! Ta love!

shoshe · 13/01/2008 17:17

looks like Rose couldnt find it either, will have another try

shoshe · 13/01/2008 17:31

Ok girls think I have sorted it, It is on a new thread Please ALL fill it in.

MaureenMLove · 13/01/2008 17:33

Aye, aye, captain!

hennipenni · 13/01/2008 17:42

Cheers for starting the thread Shoshe, was gonna do it after I had reported the other thread that I started but RL got in the way!

Had noticed that Marney was back on the other thread, she would be better starting her own thread then LTs thread can be used for what it was originally intended for.

shoshe · 13/01/2008 17:44

We need to tell every CM we know about it, I was number 446!
