I got absolutely soaked on school run. Jeans were wet through. Just had minor scuffle with dh about me trying to get a clean pair out of my drawer, whilst he was on the phone to his boss. I was making too much noise apparently. Well excuse me! If you're trying to convince your boss that you are in your office, but really you're still in bed, its not my problem! F*ckwit!

Managed to do the school run without getting wet as it was only my DD that needed to be dropped off, so I drove around the drop off point at least she doesn't get wet and not be able to change clothes.

Well mindees mum saw us running to the car so drove down and met us, I only have this mindee for another 4 weeks including today then his mum goes on maternity leave and will find a new childminder where they live for when she goes back to work after. very

With LMGs it's just lots of bits of enquiries/meetings etc. and I really want it all to work out for her as will make a big difference! She has someone round this morning and this one would be a really food one for her to get so fingers crossed!

Hi there, yes it does feel a lot better. Especially as I am ridiculously huge I am 20 weeks now, but look 6 months gone or more - third baby, fourth pregnancy, think my body has given up all hope

It's the comments I am not overly enjoying - "Are you moody yet?", "How did you keep that big bump from us for so long" etc etc. Urgh. I forgot how your body goes up for public comment. But never mind - I shall just get my list of "witty" comebacks ready.

Katy- some parents but you know you should cater for all needs dont you issue your parents with AA when they enrol their children? thought this was common pratice

crace - I had to tell mine at 10/11 weeks as was too obvious, no way could i hide it. It's only my 2nd baby, 4th pregnancy, but this time I looked like I did at 5/6 months with ds when I was only 10 weeks!!! Have you had your 20 week scan yet? I've got mine 3 weeks on Tuesday! As for comments on my bump size, I actually love it this time, maybe because I was convinced it wasn't going to work out but now it's looking much more positive

Morning dmo! How's things?

I have my scan next Thursday will be 21+ weeks which is rather annoying - am so impatient. I have to take a mindee with me as well. lol - I can't really afford to take time off and mum doesn't mind if he joins!

We won't be finding out the flavour but I am anxious to see if all is well. I don't know why the comments grate on me, I have a size complex probably! Oh well, it doesn't really matter, more important things in life to worry about eh?

I'm basically trying to take on lots of part timers since my ft'er left and some should hopefully start in a couple of week to a couple of months so hopefully I will be full by april and dp is hoping to get a pay rise in march so if it all works out we could end up actually being able to pay all our bills without sliding into the overdraught all the time and then having to get a bank loan to cover that which is what we've been doing for about 4 years now and we just can't keep doing that i just need to be able to earn more and we will be fine. We usually just get ok after getting the loan then one of ours cars will need hundreds spending on it and once again we got through christmas and were doing ok even with me losing money and full timer then dp's car needs fixing and is going to be at least £200 and I need tax next month too so I need things to improve or we'll be back to the bank asking for more money again and getting into even more debt

crace - bet you can't wait! We will be asking if boy or girl but depends if they can tell. I don't care at all what the sex is as long as he or she is healthy, just trying to be practical. I KNEW I was having a boy with ds, don't know how, just did. I feel the same again that I'm pretty sure I know and if my instinct is right again, we even have a name already! Anyway, we'll see. Good luck with yours and let us know how it goes As for taking mindees, I'm lucky mine is on a Tuesday and I no longer have to work that day (even though being paid double for it! ). I would have taken time off if had D.P. baby though as she's already been to 3 scans and an appointment at the hospital after my fall and she just cries the whole time I can't hold her and no way would I have that for this scan! Plus, they sent a leaflet saying no kids.

LMGs - as you know, got everything crossed for you, I really want this to work out for you as I know exactly what you mean about living out of overdraft and things always going wrong when something just starts going well. Good luck xxx

No kids! Really? We will have our 2 yo and the 9 mo mindee. Dh will have to rein in the children We just love the element of surprise and my daughter was a surprise so we have so much 0-6 mo neutral stuff that it actually is fine that we won't know. Frankly, I need to have SOMETHING to look forward to! ha

LMG - good luck, as I write this! It's always that way isn't it? We're in the same boat and everytime I think about getting a fulltime job out of the house I realise between my children I would be in debt for childcare! Just no winning for losing is there

LMG, good luck with all your plans. I don't think there's many people in this world that haven't been in your financial situation, I know I have. I think it helps to know, you're not the only one. I love having all parttimers, I like that everyday is different. When I did have a full timer, he was a bit of hard work and I used to dread every day. Now, if I kow I've had a bad day with one, I haven't got to see them again for nearly a week!

Potty training s going unbeleeevably well! He is 2yrs 5 months and mum started on Wednesday! Cold turkey, straight into pants and he hasn't had one accident! Calls me when he needs to go and we've even been out this morning with no problem! Mum just phoned to see how it was going and I said I could't believe how good he is! Bless his gorgeous little heart. I just wanna squeeze him!
