Hi tan1959, good to know I'm not just rambling to myself.

Poor little mites being packed off out of the house when they're poorly too! Don't understand it personally but ho hum!

School does sound a bit lax there doesn't it!

MaureenMLove · 10/01/2008 15:56

LT is fine. she and dh went for a check up earlier this week and all is well.

Weather is rubbish here now too. Got soaked on the way to school. lego is out thhis afternoon. two schoolies, both boys of 7 & 8, they are silent! Moved laptop into front room with them, so I can have a chat on here! The keys keep stiicking thoough, so please excuse the typos! Its usually got a keyboard plugged iin, but not now!

I dont know you girls with your couple of hour or even a day inspections, I get 3 yes 3 day ones !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

southernbelle77 · 10/01/2008 17:43

Well that's me done! No more work until Tuesday for me!

MaureenMLove · 10/01/2008 18:04

Yay! We're Outstanding! Well, when I say 'we', I don't mean me, personally, because you all know the daft bat from Ofsted did me during the summer holidays when I didn't have any mindees, so I'm satisfactory! I mean DD's school is Outstanding! There are only 3 outstanding in the borough and the other two are top notch grammar schools!

Shoshe 3 day inspection???

SugarSpiceandAllThingsNice · 10/01/2008 18:21

Hi everyone, no time to catch up but just popped in to say hello and noticed Mo's things about her inspection - Ofsted could very well contact me when I'm on maternity leave. Do I have the right to say I'm not working atm and tell them when I'm back to it? Seems unfair to be judged lower as no kids if you can't help having no kids there.

KayS - me and bump are fine thanks. You may just not be aware of my new name I'm having to use?

Actually, update on that......my mum sent an email to me and my bro today with a very funny story about something that happened with my nan today (she has bad dementia). I was surprised to have been included but hopefully break the ice a bit. It had kisses on and I replied and she replied again just to me with kisses so fingers crossed, in time somehow things will get sorted?!

MaureenMLove · 10/01/2008 18:32

I believe you can tell them you have no mindees to be judged by, I just wanted it done and dusted. Its only a peice of paper to me, I've got all the praise I need from my parents and word of mouth work!

That sounds very positive about M & D, they do have to accept some of the responsiblity afterall. Glad its getting sorted slowly though.

shoshe · 10/01/2008 18:42

Gal I'm a accredited CM, so yes have three day Inspections

SugarSpiceandAllThingsNice · 10/01/2008 18:46

Mo - I just don't want to even THINK about Ofsted when on my 12 weeks maternity leave, ya know what I mean!! Yeah, fingers crossed with my mum at least, don't think will be so simple for dad. Yes, I've had hard time dealing with how they came across it all Anyway, in case they see this, I just want to concentrate on the positive stuff from today

SugarSpiceandAllThingsNice · 10/01/2008 18:55

Here's a funny clip they played at our EYFS training last night - purely to wake up those who were falling asleep!

maximummummy · 10/01/2008 21:25

oh my that is one funny baby how cute!

SugarSpiceandAllThingsNice · 10/01/2008 21:45

I know, I was crying with laughter at that, it certainly woke me up when I was nodding off at the boring stuff lol
