And we are off to our fav soft play for our Christmas Party, 16 children coming

The soft Play we go to (Cool Play in Sturminster Newton Dorset), is brilliant, Mandy and Tracy who own it give us a term time discount, accommodate us in every way.

When the road was closed and a diversion in place she phoned me to let me no, in the lead up to Christmas when they have been busy, has checked for us that if a preschool was in on our normal day, so that we could swap days.

They know all our children by name and are generally lovely people, the children have made them a card and we have a big tin of Cadburys Biscuits for them, in Santas sack.

Forgot to say they have even given us a £2.00 discount per child for our party

I'm thinking of starting a thread asking MNers why they put their babies in a nursery instead of with a CM... do you think I'd get flamed?! You know I'm not that great with holding back what I think !

Chicken actually it was done last year, I think it came down to personal preference of the sort of care they wanted for their child.

I must admit after working in all sorts of Childcare I would never put a under 2 in a Nursery, but as i said it is personal preference.

Going to panto tonight with my Rainbows too, so she had better not be late. I've told her I'll be sitting in the car waiting for her to arrive!

I can't actually remember what we're seeing tonight tbh! It was booked by someone else in July! I know its got Janice Battersby in it though. It should be fun. Just hope none of the Rainbows are scared, like a couple were last year!

OK, last minute cancellation! Saves me worrying about getting out the door for panto!

I am watching my DD nativity play this morning, she is playing mary's friend.
No more party's until Thursday.

Mindee 1 has cancelled they have had d and v over the weekend

Mindees 2 and 3 coming 10.30 til 5.30 then stuff them out off the door and whizz boys to school discos. Neeeowwmm (racing car noises)

I've taken a picture of me baubles! They don't look nearly as good in a picture as they do in real life and you have to remember, DH has recently knocked a wall down in the house, which is why you can see bare brick work! But when all the 'mood' lighting is on {grin] the baubles shine lovely against the pure white walls! I'm going to buy a silver Christmas tree to go out there this week too!

I'm trying to sort all the things out for my mindees today. We are having a little party (just at home) tomorrow so we've been making things and getting them ready! I made the crackers last night finally!

Both dd and mindee not too well today though so very quiet day at home for us. It's the local childminding group chrismas session today but it would not have been fair to dd and mindee or the other people there to go so we are having to miss it

feel better now been to the park with mindees walked all the way round, fed ducks and then nipped to charity shop on the way home and everybody got a toy then to the butty shop for a sausage roll for everybody

I only have one dd at the moment. I currently look after two mindees on various days! I am looking for more work but am happy as I am itms!

Both kids seem to be perking up now which is good! Hope they are better tomorrow as got more people coming round!

Weeelll..as i posted yesterday dp is being shall we say 'difficult'? recently, so last night i left him too it, couldnt be arsed, went in playrrom andwatched t.v, went up to bed, didnt say a word, got in with dd early doors as shes having a early waking bowt again? and didnt say a peep this morn(other than "we need some loo rolls today"!..having a settling in session with new baby minde and dp rings, he's been thinking!, he thinks we should book this hol as its good value, where we want to go, still hot then etc etc..his only prob is the flight lengh but as its day time not night like this year, i THINK it will be ok, but thats down to us to stop getting narked at dd!..anyway, i said id do it this afty online..just settling mindee down for nap, phone rings, dp agaain..says hes booking it now!, i said ok but make sure its all right before you confirm as id seen someone book wrong place on airline last night..he got in huff!(its only something he would have said to me!)and said he'll leave it, well do it in brnach!
mindee settles down for nap so i ring back, if we leave it till weeekend, chances are it will go same as last time and be £500 more then!, so argy bargy about why can i do it right and nnot him???

So i have!, really excited, dd will be really chuffed, were staying in same apartments, same palce as this year, but this time(this year was friends wedding)we can do all the things wwe wanted to but missed out on..cant wait!...hopefully we'll be talking by then!

Nissi Bay, Cyprus, went for friends wedding in Aug this year, it was beautiful but we went for week they all went for two so we didnt do as mucha s we had wanted as wedding took up lots of time..so were heading back in sept 08
